I also apologize for taking so long. My head was deep in other stories, so I wasn't focusing on just this. I finally decided today was the day. If you want to know any details (updating) about the story, it will be at the bottom of my bio:)

"Hmph! If you aren't going to finish it, you might as well give the assignment to someone else!" I snarled at the cringing girl. I slap the folder on my desk, making her jump.

"Either finish it tomorrow or give it to someone else!"

"Y-y-yes Ma'am...." At this point, she was shaking. She shakily grabs her folder and walks out the office. Through the glass windows, you could see her go down the hall, wiping her face.

"Wow, you're nicer than usual." Mr. DeGrey comments. With the door being open, I calmingly say back,

"I didn't want to be THAT rude. She did just join us 2 weeks ago." I straighten up the scattered papers, pushing my hazelnut hair strands out of my eyes.

"Yeah, and at this rate, she's probably going to leave 2 weeks from now."

"Or sooner...."

After I organized my desk, I walk through the door to Mr. Degrey's office (I know it seems confusing, but their offices are connected/side by side. The door is always open, so yeah) seeing his snow white walls just like mine, two book shelves against the side walls and a wall sized window right behind him, revealing the cloudy sky and other huge buildings in the distance. I look over to him and see that he's sitting in his chair, still looking over the papers. I check on his desk, and see that his mug is empty.

"Would you like more coffee, sir?"
He looks up from his files and thinks.

"Hmm, yes. That would be nice. Please do."

I nod and take his mug to get coffee. I leave his office and head down the tan swirled carpet hall to the elevator. I push the "down arrow" button and wait for the elevator to reach my floor.

The elevator dings and the doors slide open, revealing the cinnamon colored walls of the inside, with a single steel bar.. I step inside, feeling the thin carpet and push "Level 3" button.

I walk through the busy office, hearing multiple conversations. But I'm able to catch a few.

"Look, there she is....."

"She's gorgeous, but she's so rude."

"The snake has entered..."

I turn and glare at the workers, swinging my ponytail with the turn. Everyone immediately stops and goes back to what they were doing. I quickly fill the mug with Mr. DeGrey's special coffee I make for him every once in a while and head back up.

"Mmm, still the best coffee I ever had." He takes a few more sips.

"Thank you. I always make it to ensure you have a satisfying drink."
