The Talk With Aunt Petunia

When Sarah was about to go home after a fun day at school, Mrs. Kerr handed Sarah a note saying she wanted to talk with her Aunt Petunia as soon as possible. The note reassured her Aunt Petunia that she wasn't in trouble. When she walked home with her cousin Dudley, Dudley asked her "Harry, I mean, Sarah, why did you change your name to Sarah at school? At home, we all call you Harry."
"Because, Dudley, as I have be trying to tell you for years, I am a girl. This is who I really am. I like pink. I want long hair. I like dresses. I want to be and look 100% female." Sarah says.
"Really? You don't want to be a boy at all?" Dudley asked her.
"Not one bit." Sarah replied.
"Wow, I can't believe that. That is cool." Dudley said.
"Yes, but one more thing" Sarah says.
"What?" Dudley said.
"Please use female pronouns when talking about me. It will also help show Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon that I am serious about this. They think this is just a phase, and I will grow out of this. Then I can start wearing dresses, grow my hair long, legally change my name, and maybe, dye my hair pink to prove I am a girl. I want pink hair so bad!" Sarah says. Then there is a flash of light, and Sarah's hair is neon pink and half way down her back! (Color and length of hair shown in picture)
"Whoa! How did you do that Sarah?" Dudley asked Sarah in amazement.
"I...Don't...know... But this is awesome! This will for sure show everyone I am a girl!" Sarah says. When they get home, the first thing Aunt Petunia notices is Sarah's Hair.
"Harry! What did you do to your hair!" Aunt petunia said.
"I don't know how it happened. There was a bright flash of light, and my hair was pink and halfway down my back!" Sarah says.
"Well, for the time being, I can't fix the pink, But I can make it short again. Come here." Aunt Petunia says going to get the scissors.
She then stops short in surprise, when Sarah yelled "NNNOOO!!! DON'T CUT IT! I LIKE IT THIS LENGHT"
"Okay, I guess you can keep it like that" Aunt petunia said, still surprised that Sarah had cried out like she did. Sarah was still sniffling a little from starting to cry when Aunt petunia said she was going to cut her hair, but then she remembered the note in her bag.
"The teacher sent home a note for you." Sarah said.
"Harry, did you get in trouble on your first day?" Aunt petunia asked, exasperated.
"No. The note says I am not in trouble. Mrs. Kerr told me that." Sarah said. 
Hello, I am Mrs. Kerr, Your children's teacher. I would like to have a conference with you as soon as possible. Please note, they are NOT in trouble. I just need to talk to you. (A/N: the italics are what was written on the note, just to clear that up.) "okay we'll take this back to your teacher for me please." Aunt petunia said, and scribbled a note back to their teacher.
I would love to meet with you Tomorrow after school for the kids. Give me a call. 839-4296 (A/N: this number is random buttons that I pushed. Please do not try to call this number, you won't get the Dursleys.)
"Ok." Sarah says.
            ---The Magical Time skip to the end of school the next day---
"Hello! I'm Mrs. Kerr, Sarah-" Mrs. Kerr started to say but then Aunt petunia cut in"Sarah?"
"Sarah hasn't expressed a desire to be called Sarah at home?" Mrs. Kerr asked, puzzled. Usually kids tell their parents, or guardians, in this case, first.
"Harry may have said something along those lines. He also has said he was a girl many times, but I figure it is just a phase, and he will pass through it. Although I did think was a little strange the he wanted to keep the pink hair that is halfway down his back that appeared like magic." Aunt petunia said.
"No, I do not think it is just a phase. Sarah has asked everyone to use female pronouns when referring to her. I think your niece is transgender. Where the child doesn't identify as the gender they were assigned at birth. I believe she is a transgender girl. Where you are born other at birth, but identity as female. I suggest getting her counseling about it, and talk to your doctor about it. Transgender children have one of the highest rates of depression. (A/N: not sure if that is scientifically proven, just helps give petunia a reason to spend this type of money on her niece)
"Okay, I will do that as soon as possible. Do you think I should let.... Er.... Her... Wear dresses and get...her.. Ears pierced and that kind of thing?" Aunt petunia said.
"Well, I am not a councilor,but I do think you should let her wear dresses and such, and call her by the name Sarah, which, according to her, she chose at the age of 3 1/2. If she chose a name that long ago, I highly doubt this is just a phase." Mrs. Kerr said.
"Okay. I will make...Sarah's life better, and let her be female. I will talk to the family tonight at dinner about this." Aunt petunia says.
A/N: Okay! Little bit of a cliffie here, but not much. Sarah will be called Sarah and get to wear girls clothes! After the conversation with the family, I am going to time skip to Dudley's 11th Birthday. Sarah's first letter! Addressed to a ... Mr. H potter? Please R&R! It makes me Happy, and write faster!
