  "I am too full!" I cried out, its my third burger, I have eaten half the things I ordered, while Lucas was three-quarter done.

"Aye, you're weak," he laughed, I laughed too, it was my first time being so full, "just leave it here, I will make this my dinner."

"My mom just texted," I looked at it.

"What does it say?" Lucas asked.

"She's not coming home tonight," I said as I threw my phone on to the space beside me.

"Oh, you're welcome to stay, my mom isn't gonna come home tonight anyway, and tomorrow, I can make sure both of us get something to eat before school."

"Lucas," he turned his head towards me, "why are you so nice to me?"

"Because," he smiled and sat up, "you're like a sister to me."

"Well bro," I punched him playfully, "it would be a pleasure to stay here tonight."

Lucas showed me to a bedroom for guests and left me alone to shower, earlier I had grabbed some clothes from my house for today and tomorrow and I began to shower. Lucas and I have been eating Mac Donald until we finished it and then cleaned up the mess. I had some homework to do after I showered, its around 8.30pm when I finally finished bathing and I walked out of the room and to my horror, Lucas is standing in front of me. Half naked.

"What you've never seen a shirtless guy before?" Lucas smirked, I blushed and shook my head slowly as I turned away and went inside my room.

"Lily, c'mon, I'm sorry, I got a shirt on," Lucas knocked on my door, I slowly opened the door trusting him, "hey."

"Hey," I said and turned around, I took my computer from my bag and the charger. I sat down near the table beside the bed and begun on my homework.

15 minutes had passed, Lucas, sitting on the floor, has been doing his homework as well, its been pretty peaceful in the room, well, that is until Lucas broke the silence.

"So, you got a brother?" Lucas spoke up, I was shocked.

"How did you know I got a brother?" I said, Lucas pulled out the list and pointed to number 28, right.

"Yeah, he went to Portland, Oregon to further his study, my mom came here to earn enough money for his education, as well as mine," and I mumbled the last part, "at least that's what she wanted me to say."

"Oh," Lucas looked at the list again, "adopt a husky?"

"What? Huskies are the reason why life is full of amazing things," I whined.

"Alright," he raised his hands in defeat, "I finished my homework, so I am going to watch some Netflix on the couch, wanna join?"

"Nah, I will probably be working on my projects," I smiled at him.

"C'mon," Lucas whined as he pulled my arm, "stop being a buzzkill."

"I'm not a buzzkill!" I yelled.

"Okay, buzzkill."

"Oh okay fine, Netflix it is, but if I fail this project, it's your fault," I said sternly.

"My fault," Lucas repeated, his hands in the air and smirked.

"Lily!" Lucas yelled for me, I was running out of my house trying to lock my door, Lucas and I were about to be late, I was putting my stuff in my room from yesterday's sleepover.

"I'm here!" I yelled as I opened the door, geez, the guy has zero patience.

"Thank god, I thought you were dead," he laughed, I laughed as well, and we made our way to school.

"Lukey!" a girl shrieked behind me, I thought I was going deaf for a moment there.

"Ally!" Lucas called back, they hugged each other, the girl placed a kiss on his cheek. And my heart felt heavy for a moment, then I realised, why should I care, he's not my boyfriend and as I was about to walk away, she called out to me.

"Oh hey, Lucas, who's this?" her high pitched tone ringing in my ears.

"Um, I'm Lilian, nice to see you, I gotta go now," I swung my bag on my shoulder and slammed the car door, "I'll see you around."

"Lily.." Lucas called, but I just kept moving, maybe it was my ears, but the girl said something afterwards.

"Who cares about her Lukey, I'm back now, she is just a nobody."

A Nobody.

During the last period I was anxious for the time to pass as soon as possible, cause at the back of my head, I hated the idea that this girl was all over Lucas, but I was trying, trying my damnest to not give a shit. It wasn't until the bell rang that I realised, I haven't been paying attention to any of the lesson that just happened.

"Well class, your assignment is to pair up with a buddy," the whole class whined for a moment, "boo hoo, I'm letting you choose your partners, those without partners by tomorrow, will instantly be paired up by yours truly. And you wouldn't wanna waste a minute on this project I can guarantee you that."

"Hey," a boy with hazel hair came up to me spoke up.

"Hi," I tried to keep my smile.

"Wanna be partners?" I thought about it for a moment.

"Actually, she's my partner," Caleb came from behind me and wrapped his arm around my shoulders, the boy seemed to got the hint and started walking away.

"What on earth do you think you're doing?" I whisper-yelled.

"Relax, it's only a project," he smirked, "anyway, need a ride home?"

"No thanks, I rather walk home than be driven home by a psycho."

"Woah, miss Lilian had a I don't give a shit side, how sweet," Caleb teased.

"Look Caleb, I am really exhausted, could you let me off?"

"Lily, c'mon, let's face it, Lucas don't like you, and he never would, I mean have you seen his girlfriend? Smoking hot, why in hell would he leave her for you?" Caleb's words seemed crazy, I don't like Lucas, never had, never will, "now, I know it seems absurb, but think about it."

I walked out of class, going to my locker, Caleb trailing not far behind me, just then, I saw him. My heart shattered. Lucas, kissing her.

"What did I tell ya," Caleb smirked.

"Fine, let's be partners," Caleb only chuckled, "but, I wanna start today, my house."

"Alright miss Lilian."
