Heart Beats

A Loveless Story.

And just like that It all ends;
Because she says
What i had was not love,
And that i didnt care.

Yes, i couldn't stop each day
To see her smile.
Nor was i there to comfort her
When she lost it all.

But i used to tell her
my love was deep,
And only meant for her.
She told me then that
I had only words for her,
And nothing else at all.

She told me she left me
A thousand times;
But couldn't bear it away.
And that i never stayed for her
At any time of the day.

She's my love, forever it shall stay,
But i can't keep others at bay,
Nor can i be always there,
But i would want her to wait.
Maybe at times i would hurt her
She never could return it though.
I have never bound her
It is also her will to stay.

And yet each night she cries for me
While i am busy dreaming bays.
But the very next day
she smiles for me,
While i am further away.

And then one day,precisely today
She said its time to end,
Cos there's no cause at all,
To have hopeless days and
Dreamless nights, for a day,
That's not ought to come.

But i am sure the very next day
She would come for me.
Cos i know her love for me
Is never going to cease.
