Jessie-----

I stood infront of Cameron "I forgive you...it's just I dont need your protection, I can handle myself."

He nodded "Please just talk to me"

I closed my eyes "Yeah"

He sighed "Wh-"

Dayton walked up just as Cam was about to say something.

Dayton smiled "Hey Jessie, I'm having a party at my place.....I was wondering if you wanted to come?"

I looked at Cameron who looked annoyed "Umm....yeah, is it ok if Cam and Neil come?"

He nodded "Yeah it's gonna be great."

Dayton walked away as he smirked "see ya"

I waved and Cam stood infront of me "What the hell Jess?"

I shrugged "He gave me a ride yesterday."

Cam scoffed "Of course."

I rolled my eyes "At least he isnt in my buisness all the time."

I began to walk away as Cam grabbed my arm.

"I'm sorry, I just don't like the guy." He admitted

I sighed "Give him a chance, I did."

He looked down "Me and Neil are coming to this party with you."

I smiled "Good, you guys need to get out more."

Pulling up to the street with dozens of cars lined at the curb, I smiled "Guys were actually going to a party."

I turned to see Cameron exchanging looks with Neil.

"Guys please, do this for me?" I asked

Neil looked back at me from the front seat "Jess I don't know about this."

I sighed "Please guys."

Neil closed his eyes "Come on Cam"

I hopped out of the car, wearing a pair of ripped jeans I had a blue top on and my hair was down and actually straight for once.

I wore eyeliner which I didnt usually do and mascara. I looked back and the guys finally stepped out of the car.

Cameron wore a pair of jeans a black t-shirt and some sneakers. Neil wore a green t-shirt, jeans and his cap turned backwards with a pair of Nikes.

I sighed "Come on"

Walking down the street we headed to the cream colored house with teens lines at the door.

I cut through and saw Dayton.

I saw him smile and walk over with some cups, handing one to each of the boys.

"Glad you guys could make it." He smiled

Locking eye contact with me he smirked "You wanna go talk?"

I looked at Cam who shook his head, I nodded "Yeah, you guys will be fine here right?"

Neil nodded as a girl walked past swinging her hips in a very tight pair of jeans with a belly shirt.

I smiled "Go on"

He looked to Cam before chasing after the girl.

I turned leaving with Dayton. Leading me past the crowd of people I looked back to see Cameron watching me. I turned and followed Dayton smiling as he opened the back door and let me out first.

Stepping behind me he guided me toward a bench and sat down, joining him I sat on the cold wood.

"So what's with the outdoors?" I asked

He bit his lip and shrugged "It's quiet"

I nodded "So what did you wanna talk about?"

He shrugged "You some more, I mean you didn't really tell me much about yourself."

I nodded "I'm an only child, parents are workaholics. What else is there?"

He shrugged "Your interests, what you like....stuff like that"

I chuckled "Photography, Books, Music, video games.....just your average nerdy outcast."

He shook his head "Your not a nerdy....I think it's cool."

I stared at him "What about you?"

He shrugged again "Confused Jock with an average GPA and also workaholic parents."

I paused before asking what was on my mind "Why the sudden interest in me Dayton? We've gone to school together since kindergarten."

He looked down "I don't know really, you intrigue me."

I rolled my eyes "I'm gonna go find Cam and Neil."

He grabbed my hand "Jessie I'm not screwing with you, I mean it."

I looked at him "Fine then..... dance with me."

He smirked "My pleasure"
