Braxton household

The whole Edmonds and Braxton family had just came from the burial of Michele and Estine, Evelyn, Brian and Evelyn's brother were sitting in the living room

"Son, what happened to my niece?"

"Well sir, I had just came back from picking up the kids from school and the kids left me outside and went to the house and they started to yell my name." At this time Brian was crying.

"I ran inside and saw my beautiful wife sleeping on the reclining couch and the kids tried waking her up. I checked her pulse and there was no pulse so I rushed her to the nearest hospital. Two months later she woke up and Peyton was sitting on her hospital bed saying that she must get the doctor, when they came back it was already too late"

"What caused the death?" Evelyn asked

"The doctor said it was food poisoning"

"Oh God, I am going to miss her so much. Who would have killed her? She was alone in the house, Michele was alone" Estine said crying

"Whoever killed Michele will never have peace in their life anymore" Evelyn said

Estine's eyes widened but she decided not to show how her mother's words scared her. She started comforting her mother.

"Mommy, now that the burial is over. I need to go back to LA and get back to work. The three weeks they gave me is now over. I am also taking the kids with me" Brian explained but Estine quickly answered him before Evelyn could say anything

"That will not be possible. I mean you are always at work so who look after them when you are not at home?"

"Brian, I think Estine is right. Especially when we don't know who poisoned their mother" Evelyn said

"That's right mommy" Estine chimed in

"I will hire a babysitter for them"

"A babysitter. Brian do you think it will be safe for a total stranger to come and live with you? I don't think so" Estine said shaking her head

"Brian, leave the kids with me for now. Just send me enough money to me for their care, when they are with me they won't feel so bad about their mother's death"

Brandon sighed. "Well they can stay with you until I find another alternative. Thank you very much mommy for everything"

Brian stood up and went out to the garden in the backyard and stood by the oak tree when Estine came behind him and touched his shoulder startling him

"You're thinking of her again. How long are you going to be like this?" Estine asked Brian. "Listen she was my sister too andI miss her very much as well okay, but life goes on and you need to start living your life again"

"How can I live, when I sleep all I see in my dreams is the image of my wife crying, calling out to me and asking me to help her

"Well, you dream because you think too much about her, you need to stop doing that. Besides you have people around you who love you. Your family, friends, kids and you have me" Brian looked at her and she shrugged. "It's true, now come on and have something to eat"
