Chapter 9

The place seemed almost foreign to me as we quickly pulled into the driveway of the small house I shared with Jack. "Let's go," Harry commanded, stepping out of the vehicle and walking around to my side. He pulled me out, practically running with me up to the door, leaving the engine running.

As soon as we stepped inside, I was pulled to the bedroom. I watched as harry ran to the closet, tugging out my biggest suitcase. I found it quite odd he knew where everything was, but didn't knock up enough nerve to question him about it. "You can take anything that will fit in this suitcase. Nothing more," he sternly said. I nodded, quickly walking over. I began pulling out random items from my closet that I thought I'd need. My hoodie, multiple pairs of jeans, shorts, t shirts, you name it. I paused for a moment when I came across my favorite dress. I wanted to take it with me so badly.... But where would I wear it to? What would I wear it for!? I quickly move onto my bathroom, packing up my curler, brush, and cosmetics bag. There was only enough room for a few things left.

When I ventured back into the bedroom, I was surprised to find harry rummaging through my underwear drawer. Wait WHAT.

"Hey!" I yelled, causing him to drop my red lace thong. I scurried over to pick up the fallen piece of clothing, looking up only to find a devilish smirk across his face. "You need to bring that," he chuckled, picking up a handful of random underwear and stuffing them in my suitcase. My face was beat red as I dropped the article of clothing in the suitcase, quickly zipping it up.

"Is that it?" He asked. I nodded, my heart beating rapidly at the thought of what was going on right now. 'Its just like a vacation Annie... You can do this,' I told myself. Almost as fast as we had entered the house, we ran out, throwing my bag in the car. "Get in. Hurry," harry commanded, opening my door. I quickly buckled into the seat, looking at my house one last time before we sped off.

2 hours later: "well that was fucking stressful," harry commented, bringing my luggage up to his bedroom. Our bedroom? THE bedroom. Let's go with that. "How was that stressful for you!? That was stressful for me. To have to leave everything I've ever owned... And choose what to bring!" I sighed, my eyes beginning to water.

He only looked at me with a blank expression on his face. "Sorry, but that's the way it has to be," he said, when he finally spoke.

"No it doesn't... You could've let me go. You could've helped me get my fiancé back and you could've helped me get my life back!" I yelled, tears streaming down my face.

"Annie you don't understand, I'm-"

"no Harry! You could've helped me! You could've helped me!" I sobbed, sinking to the floor. The only sound in the room was my sobbing, and Harry's silent breathing. I continued to cry my eyes out as he watched me.

"Annie. Don't cry," he sighed, finally walking over and wrapping an arm around me. I tore away from him.

"Annie I'm sorry this is happening. But," he continued, tugging me back to him. "But What!? Leave me alone Harry! Please!" I snapped.

"No Harry! I don't want to hear any more! Please... Please leave me alone damnit!" I snapped. Before he could say anything else, I shoved him out the door and ran to the bed.

"Annie! Annie let me in damnit!" He shouted. I rested my head on te pillow, my eyes feeling heavy as I continued to listen to him pound te door.

"Annie... I need to tell you something. Something about Jack," Harry muttered, looking into my eyes. "W-what?" I asked.

He lifted my chin up, sorrow in his eyes, his breathing increasing. His next words made my breath hitch.

"Jacks dead."
