*outside Raini's house*
Ross:"is everyone here?"he said as everyone said yes.
Calum:"ugggghhh I have the worst headache ever!!" He said as he held his head in pain.
Raini:"well that was your fault for drinking 9 beers yesterday."she retorted as she smirked.
Maia:"can we hit the road yet? Laura's waiting!"she said excitedly as she hopped in the car.
Stormie:"wait honey, do you have money, blankets, Id?"she said as she checked theirs bags.
Ross:"mom we're fine."he said as he pushed her hand away."I'm guessing we won't be back ti'll Monday morning if we're early enough."
Stormie:"ok kids, be safe... And wear your seat belts!"she warned.
They all hopped in the car and started to drive.
Calum:"hey guys, can we stop by Hannah's house, she kinda doesn't know I'm going on this trip" he said with a frown.
Ross:"ok we can stop there first."he said as he took another turn to a house.
Calum ran out and knocked on the door.
Calum:"sooo Hannah, I've been meaning to tell you this bu-"
Hannah:"your breaking up with me?! I should've known this was comin-"
Calum:"no no no"he said cutting her off.
Calum:"I was meaning to tell you that I might not be here for a couple days..... I'm going out of town to help my friend with something."he said.
Hannah:"then I wanna come with!"she said excitedly as she grabbed her wallet.
Calum:"seriously?"he said.
Hannah:"tell your friend that you have one more helper" she said as she texted her parents."they said yes, let's go!she said as she grabbed him and ran out the door.
*back to the car*
Calum:"hey guys, Hannah said that she wants to help and she's coming with."
Ross:"hey, the more merrier! He said in a rush."now let's go on the search for Laura!"
They finally arrived to the theater.
Ross:"ok everyone has to climb the tree and crawl through that window."Ross explained.
Calum:"I'm not going up there."he said terrified.
Raini:"Calum you climbed a 30 foot tree yesterday, I bet you could do it today."
Maia:"just get up the tree you big baby."she said.
They all climbed up and went through the window.
Maia:"I remember this place. Everyone follow me, I wanna see if something is here still."she said as she walked down and went backstage.
Maia:"laura and I went here one time and we drew a picture."she said looking around.she suddenly points and smiles.
Ross:"do you see it?"he asks looking around.
Maia:"yeah it's taped to that wall!"she said as she ran over to it. But there was something different about it. In little black sharpie it said,
"ke,ep ,m,e ou,t of yo,ur me,mory an,d nev,er com,e bac,k fo,r me"
It was a remake of a painting, it was quite familiar to all of them.
Calum:"ohhh that's my favorite painting! The original was made by Salvador Dalì and its called "persistence of memory". He said in excitement.
Hannah:"isn't that painting in the Museum of Modern Art in New York City?"she said with a smile.
Maia:"That could be where Laura is! In the Museum of Modern Art in New York City! That's where she always wanted to go!"she said jumping up and down.
Raini:"well let's go if we have to make it to New York City!"she said as everyone started to run back to the car.
Ross:"hold up!"he said as he walked back to the picture. He took it and folded it and put it in his pocket.
Hannah:"Ross are you coming?"she said.
Ross:"yup, next stop, is New York."
