Everyone ran off into the woods area checking behind every tree, but they couldn't find him.
Raini:"maybe we should just give up."she said sitting down.
Maia:"we can't leave him!"she said widening her eyes.
Everyone stared weirdly at her.
Raini:"ummmm, Maia, what happened back in the woods?"she said standing back up and walking towards Maia."why did he get lost."
Maia looked like she was hiding something.
Raini:"fine..... If nothing happened then maybe we should just-"
Maia:"FINE!! I kissed him!"she said quickly.
They all looked at her in shock.
Ross:"oh no, knowing Calum, he might have ran off somewhere out of nervousness! We have to hurry!"he said as he continued to walk.
*page break*
They haven't seen a sign of Calum yet.
Ross:"maybe we should just lea-"
Raini:"hey what's that building over there?"she said as she cut ross off.
They started to run over.
Maia:"Grant's fun zone, it must be an arcade then."she said walking towards."look! It's Calum!"
They all ran over to the door and barged in to see Calum playing a game.
Ross:"umm Calum what are you doing?"he asked.
Calum turned around
Calum:"I'm trying to get this stuffed animal but I keep getting something else."he said pointing to the big pile of stuffed animals on the ground.
They all walked towards the claw machine.
Raini:"what's that piece of paper attached to it?"she said pointing at the stuffed animal he wanted."it doesn't look like a tag or anything, it looks like a piece of paper ripped out of a notebook."
Maia:"maybe it's from Laura!calum you have to get it!"she said putting her face against the glass.
Calum:"I only have a dollar left."he said digging into his pocket and pulling a dollar out.
Ross:"here just take this."he said as he gave him five more dollars.
Dollar after dollar, Calum failed miserably, but soon they ran out of money.
Raini:"ross, we are all out of money, let's just go."
Ross:"No! I'm not leaving here until I get that note!"he said slamming his hands on the glass.
Maia:"Ross calm down! Look I have one more dollar.."she said as Ross snatched the dollar out of his hand.
Ross:"Calum scoot over, it's my turn."he said as he shoved him aside.
He put the dollar in and moved the claw to the stuffed animal. He then dropped it down as the claw grabbed it and dropped it in the hole.
Ross:"YEEEESSS!!"he shouted as he grabbed the note off the stuffed animal.
Calum:"YAY!! Give me the stuffed animal!"
Ross opened the not and read it:
T,wo sta,tes ba,ck.
They all looked at him weirdly
Raini:"two states back?! So we drives all the way over here to go back to Utah? We were there like 10 hours ago!"she said face palming her face.
Ross:"buut, it's in out ride back and we can find her on our way home! And we can get back early for graduation and finals!"he said convincingly.
Raini:"I guess."
Maia:"then what are we waiting for! We need to get back to Utah!"she said.
They all ran back to the car.
Calum:"is it still broken?"he asked.
Ross turned it on easily.
Ross:"I guess it works now."he said.
They got in the car. Coincidently, Maia and Calum were next to each other.
Maia:"sooo, what are we?"she asked looking down.
Calum:"I don't know, let's just forget about it."he said staring out the window.
Maia:"yeah."
