*still in the car*
Calum:"oh my god, I can't believe we forgot her."he said as he put his head in his hands.
They soon got back to the gas station.
Ross:"hey Calum can you-"
But he couldn't finish because Calum ran out of the car.
*in the gas station*
Calum:"oh my god, I'm so glad your here! I'm so so so SO sorry that we forgot you. But before I say anything else, we have to get to the car if we are going to make it to New Yor-"
Hannah:"Calum, I'm tired of this. I get it, they are your best friends but, sometimes, I just want to spend time with you. You totally just forgot that I was on this trip with you. Why are you so focused on finding Laura when..... I thought I was your one and only."she said getting teary eyed.
Calum:"it's not like that! I swear! I just owe him for....."he stopped because he had something in mind that broke his heart.
Hannah:"what is it Calum? You blow me off every night! Spending time around every girl..... Except m-"
Calum:" Girls?! That's what you think of me!? You can't even trust me! Wow if you thought that I was seeing other girls, you could have just said so!"he said angrily.
Hannah:"well what else could I have done!? Your blowing me off every night!"....."why are you even blowing me off anyways?"
Calum looked down at the ground angrily with tears in his eyes.
Hannah:"maybe if this relationship is lacking trust and communication, then maybe we should just break u-"
Calum:"You know why I've been blowing you off!"...."fine I'll just spill it! I was working to buy you a ring for a marriage proposal.... FOR YOU!!"he said pointing at her.
She looked at him teary eyed. He then walked towards the door.
Calum:"are you coming or what?"he said avoiding eye contact with her.
Hannah:"I'm calling a cab."she said angrily as she walked
Calum walked to the car and opened the drivers seat door and crawled into ross lap and leaned his head on his shoulder.
Ross:"what are you do-"but he cut himself off as soon as he heard him sobbing."it's going to be alright bud."he said rubbing his back.
Ross:"come on ,go to the backseat and we'll talk about it during the drive."he said as Calum crawled of and jumped in the back and continued to cry.
The ride was complete silence.
Maia:"hey let's listen to some music to cheer us up.... Raini turn it up!"she said hoping Calum would stop crying.
Raini turned it up.
Ross:"hey Calum this is your favorite song!"he said.
Ross:"Every time that you get undressed
I hear symphonies in my head
I wrote this song just looking at you ooh, oh"
Raini:"Yeah the drums they swing low
And the trumpets they go
And the trumpets they go"
Maia:"Yeah the trumpets they go
Da da, da ra ra da d-"
Calum:"Hannah's brother played the trumpet!"he said frowning again."pass me the tissues"he said as they gave him a box.
Maia:"hey something fell of it."she said picking up a piece of paper.
Raini:"well, what does it say?"
Maia:"it says this:
"He,art bre,ak , migh,t a,s wel,l tur,n back no,w"
They all looked at each other.
Ross:"how did she put this here? How would she kno-"but then he realized that Laura was in her car once.
Ross:"everyone, check the car. Laura might have left something else!"
