Kings and Queens of Cove wear a golden crown that is wrapped around the top of their heads. Whenever I get the chance to see my father, he doesn't always wear his crown. That's the King's crown. I don't know what happened to the Queen's crown. My goal is to have his crown on the top of my head.
And that is why I'm here. I need to find a way of how I can end my father's Leadership.
I see the shelves and part of the floor filled up with boxes, filled up with old papers of great information. Each box labeled, like, Kings/Queens, Laws of Cove, History of Cove, etc. There's even boxes filled with portraits. There are published informational books about some these topics, but this is most trustworthy to me.
I stumbled upon this secret area when I was about 14. I was bored and nothing had interested me in this giant library. I wasn't exactly a bookworm. But I gave it a shot. I thought there would be some decent books in the back. The bookshelf that hides this area showed a tiny gap. When I looked through the gap, it was just darkness. I was a curious girl - and I still am - so I pried open the shelf to see what was in there. I found the light source and was amazed at how much information there was about Cove. Over the last 4 years, I reread and memorize almost everything there was in the documents. And the thing is, I think there's still a few more boxes to cover, and I can't wait to go over them.
I'm a quick learner, so it was easy for me to understand and memorize the documents. Not all of them yet. Some of these Hidden Documents are still hidden.
I remember when I was 15, I found a box that had my father's documents. Along with my late mother's. I saw a painting of her. She looked beautiful. And I read only some of her documents. She was a great Queen. She was so nice to the Kingdom and the kingdom liked her. She makes my father's leadership today look like rubbish. When I become Queen, I want to become like my mother.
I try to find a specific box. When I finally find it, I take out the box labeled Future Leaders. That basically means the children of the current leaders.
I go through the box and find stuff that is irrelevant to what I'm trying to find. I see Documents about the 18th Birthday tradition and more. Finally, I come across a section that says Becoming a Leader. It shows how the leadership is passed on to the children.
Rose told me that there used to be a Document Writer for each generation of Leaders. That person just had to write down and keep record of the Kings and Queens. No wonder these documents have different handwriting.
"When both, the King and Queen, pass away, the heir may take over if they are the age of 18 or older and have already been taught the rules of Leadership..."
"The King/Queen would pass away for only certain reasons:
Natural causes, murder/accidental death."Murder. That's the only word that I take out from this record.
My father has a long way to go from death by age anyway. Kings and Queens have to rule Cove up until they die. And that is how they end their Leadership. They can't just quit. Is that my answer? Killing my father? I know that he's a terrible person and should not deserve to be King, but... killing him? Then again, he's killed many other people and will probably kill even more if he isn't stopped. Maybe he does deserve it.
But do I have to kill him? No. I don't have to. I hope not. Maybe I can hire someone to assassinate him...
Wait, what am I thinking?! I'm talking about killing my father! Maybe, forget the father part. I'm trying to get rid of someone who murders people and the only way to solve that problem is to murder him.
So death is the only answer. Either accidental death or murder.
Accidental death? It doesn't really matter if he does die from those reasons. Even if it's staged, it's still murder.
Something needs to be done now. I don't want to watch my father decapitate innocent people's heads. Or having the thought of him doing that. I've had enough of my father's Leadership. And I think Cove has as well.
For the sake of my kingdom, I have rescue it from my father
