An older woman of thirty-five folded a bed sheet from the clothesline. Her long sandy hair cascaded down her back in long waves. Beautiful green eyes shined to the sunlight as she watched her fifteen year-old son Jomo play chase with Tau's grandson and Talon's granddaughter.

The two young ligers chased after the dark skinned boy with a smile on both their faces. But they weren't as fast as Kellan with his blood. Kiara cut her chase short by cutting off Jomo. She catches him by the legs and made him fall. A surprised yelp escaped the boy as he fell.

"Jomo, ligers are sneaky. They have tiger blood in them. Remember?" called out Assaggi. A smile on her face as she watched her son being tackled by the two ligers.

"I know, Mom!" Jomo yelled as he tries to escape the small pile.

"Are you sure about that, brother?" called out someone from behind Assaggi.

A soft kiss pressed against Assaggi's cheek as her daughter greeted her. "Morning, Mama." Nyah greeted. Dark brown hair ran down her head to meet her mid-back. She had similar eyes to Assaggi with the same feral glint.

Nyah grabs a shirt that hung on the line and began to fold it. "Mama, can I run with Kaarle?" she suddenly asked.

"Absolutely not." Assaggi said without consideration.

"Aah! Come on, Mom! Kaarle and I were planning to run today! I'm sixteen years old. I can take care of myself!" Nyah argued. "Which was the same age I fell in love and had you. And I was taught sixteen isn't the age to be pregnant." Assaggi said with a small smile, remembering the days when she was sixteen.

"But Kaarle is a cheetah!" Nyah continued. Then, she yelps when Assaggi spun around on her heel, showing Nyah the glow in her golden eyes. "And you, Nyah, are a lion. You have the same genes as I, so you can shift forms. Whether or not Kaarle is a cheetah, he is a teenage boy." Assaggi recalled Kondo and Sanyu's son as he tried to smooth talk Nyah. Which ended with him being chased by Nile with a stick.

A sudden scream stopped their arguing. They see Jomo on his back with Kiara on top of him. Baako was on Jomo's legs and kept him from kicking. All three children looked tired and were panting from the activity.

"I remember when I was like that." Assaggi said.

"You still are like that."

Assaggi jumped when strong arms wrapped around her waist, but began to laugh when someone began to nuzzle her neck. The straggly feeling of his facial hair made her itchy. "Gross, Dad!" Nyah yelled childishly as she covered her eyes. She runs blindly and ends up falling on top of the pile that Jomo was still in. "Ow!" all four children yelled.

The two parents laughed at the kids' antics. "Always such a lively bunch." Nile said. "Nyah and Jomo have our blood. Of course they are." Assaggi laughed. She looks up at Nile and stared into his dark brown eyes. Nile had grown as much as she had. His muscles were bigger and he was more lean. A crown was painted on his forehead, signifying him as the tribe leader. He was almost a spitting image of his father if it wasn't for his mother's eyes and nose.

"I love you, Nile." Assaggi whispered in her native tongue before kissing him.

"I love you too." Nile whispered back when they reached for air. His eyes glowing the same feral color as Assaggi's eyes.
