It seems like Abbey was more than a perky, out-going girl. She also had her dark side. She had come from an abusive family who would always put her down and favor her older brother. One day after a beating from her father, she had enough and decided to end her life. Minutes before swallowing the container of mixed pills she had prepared, she had heard the faint sound of a melody in the background. 'We are young, we don't belong, Born in this world as it all falls apart.'

She told me that she placed the container down to listen to the song. She didn't pick up the container. She picked up the phone instead to cal the police. She was fourteen and never saw her abusive parents again. Instead she moved in with her grade school teacher and her husband who loved having her as a child.

Those two months passed casually. My parent had not only allowed me to go the concert but had also bought the VIP tickets. I was going to be able to meet them! I would be able to meet my Gods. My Angels.

"How about tomorrow?" asked Abbey.

"Tomorrow seems like a good day." I said, agreeing with her on finally going shopping with her to buy our outfits.

"So it's a concert. We have to look really punk."

I laughed which I had been doing a lot of lately and was enjoying it immensely. "You're too cute to be punk."

She was. Her light brown hair was short and bubbly along with her kind smile and her pink, freckled filled face.

"I'm not cute!" She said innocently, "I'm manly as hell."

I laughed once more, "Sure. So do you know what you are going to say to them yet?"

"I'm going to thank them of course. They saved my life after all, You?"

"Probably the same. If I can get it though all my sobs," We laughed and i looked out the distance to what seem like one of the Gothic men from those years ago, but the second time I looked, he was gone.

My heart was racing. Had the voices become mad that they had to and see me? Were they going to hurt me again? No, my Undead heroes wouldn't allow it.

"Scava?" Abbey asked concerned.

"What? Did you say something?"

"I did, but I forgot now. Are you feeling okay?"

I sighed, I had told Abbey about my schizophrenia, and it had scared her as much as me, and I could tell by the concern on her face that she didn't want me to hear those voices again.

"Yeah, I just though I saw someone I knew."

"An enemy?"

"Maybe. But they're gone now."

'Or are we?'

I wanted to cry, but held it in. Maybe it was just a stupid thought of mine. "Why don't we go to my place and listen to their album while doing homework?"

Abbey smiled but her brown eyes still showed concern, "Sounds like a plan."

"I think a better plan would be her death. Don't you think?"

"Shut up," I whispered and increased my speed.
