just beautiful

I was sitting in a a swing hanging from a a big willow tree. it was in the middle of a church's garden. the church was bright white with sparkling stain glass windows. I could feel the warm sun on my skin with a cool breeze tickling the back of my neck. i swung higher and higher on the swing. the swing creaked back and forth making a tempo for the rest of the world to follow.

on the swing i found a cello resting against the trunk of the tree. it was a creamy caramel color. the grain of the polished wood gave the cello a mythical look. the silver strings glimmered in the sun rays peeking through the willow tree.

i became lost in the beauty of a simple man-made object. the swing started to sway lower. my feet stumped the ground and brought the swing to a hault. but then two younger children woke me up from my fantasies.

a little boy and girl around the ages of 4 and 5. the boy looked younger with golden blonde hair and crisp hazel eyes. eyes just like mine. the girl had light chocolate brown hair with dazzling green eyes.

the children ran up to the swing all out of breath. they called my name warning me of something. i got them to calm down and i couldn't make out what they were trying to say.

"late, late, your late you have to go go goooooo." the boy whined all exasperated.

"please! you have to hurry. the wedding will start any second" the little girl tried to explain.

"a wedding? why do i have to go to a wedding? who's wedding is it?" i asked the children as they rushed me off the swing.

the little boy ran over to cello dragging it from its resting place. i ran over to him and scooped him up into my arms. i picked up the cello in one hand holding it by its neck. the little girl ran into the church and i swiftly followed her into the huge wooden doors.

the church was breath taking. the stain glass windows lit the room with a rainbow of colors. beautiful painting of angels and saints covered the ceiling. red and white roses covered the marble alter with a handsome groom awaiting his bride.

the little boy started plucking the strings of the cello.

music, music music! he chanted.

i figured that i was supposed to play for the wedding and started tuning the cello. the strings were already perfect though. i just loved the sound and the strings sending their vibrations through my bones.

i then realised i was not dressed at all for a wedding. i looked down on myself observing what i was now wearing. my navy blue jeans and t-shirt was now a breath taking dress.

i was surprised and astonished. when did i put on a dress? i started walking over to the violinist in the black slick tux. i struggled to carry the cello in the dress. i tried not to trip over myself.

as i was just about to set up the cello what seemed like the bride's maids rushed over to me. they yelled whispers at me ordering me to come with them.

i obeyed their commands and followed them in to the bride's room. the wedding planner lined all the bride's maids up. their dresses were as red and shiny as the beautiful roses decorating the church. they glimmered in every step they took. the roses they carried were white with pink tipped petals.

i did not know what i was supposed to do. who was the wedding for? why was i with the wedding party? i was really confused and sat down in a chair only to be rushed back up.

the weeding planner rushed me to the back of the line with the bride's maids. where was the bride? the wedding planner then handed me a bouquet of red roses. they were a lot bigger then the white roses the other bride's maids had.

i looked back in a mirror to look at my dress again. my hair was up in gorgeous golden curls with pretty silver beads and a sparkling diamond head piece.

i looked back to the dress in shock. i held the roses in front of me to confirm my suspicions. i was a bride. i was the one getting married. this was my wedding day. but how? who was i marrying? who would ever love me, never mind marry me?

the music started playing. the bride's maids started down the asial. all i had on my my mind was the cello.

i frantically looked around for the beautiful musical creation. i couldn't find it anywhere. but then something shimmering in my roses caught my eye. a golden little cello pin was glimmering in the center of the bequet.

when i looked up all the bride's maids were gone. the music was still playing. it was my turn to walk down the asial.

i slowly walked out the beautiful glass doors like everyone else did before. i didn't know what to do really. i tried to smile and look happy. i was scared to trip on my long flowing dress. but then i came to the realization that i was going to promise my love to someone i didn't know. who was i marrying?

a tear dripped down my face as i met the groom. i was scared to look up at him.

"dont worry love. u look beautiful" he whispered as he wiped my tear from my face.

i still didn't look to see who it was.

we exchanged vows. the priest asked for the rings. the little boy and girl came bouncing up with big grins on there faces. they gave me hugs and and gave us the rings.

"i love you." the little boy giggled

"good luck" the little girl said in a hush.

she held the boy's hand and skipped back to their seats.

we exchanged rings promising our love to each other. what was making me do this? what made me put so much trust in this man?

a man... i was just a girl. how did i end up in this mess?

"you may now kiss the bride." the priest cheerfully announced.

i finally looked up to receive my kiss. i gazed into my husband's dark brown eyes. his hair was full of dark brown curls. then i realised who i was marrying. it really was the love of my life.

"you are my everything. I'll love you forever" he whispered to me.

he then passionately kissed me. i blushed as he pulled me in closer. i wished the kiss would never end. but it did

he carried me back down the asial kissing my cheek over and over again. everyone cheered and applaud us.

the great doors swung open and then...

it was over.
