God's Perfect Timing

As for her modeling career, Mariel also experienced rejection. During the early year of 2015, three modeling agencies here in the Philippines rejected her. Two modeling agencies in her country even blocked her on Instagram. One modeling agent in the Philippines also blocked her and they didn't replied. During those times, she felt hurt and disappointed. But she knew God has something bigger in mind. So she waited, and after a few months, international modeling agencies worldwide scouted her, FRM Model Mangement (Australia), Labelle Model Management (Los Angeles), Ithaka Modeling Agency (Greece), an international European model scouter named Marina Satropa of Effe Scoop Agency (Italy) and Wave Model Management (Italy) has scouted her, and one of the biggest names in the modeling industry IMG Model Management (New York) has scouted her as well. All of these agencies discovered her on Instagram. Knowing all of this, Mariel was very thankful. Indeed, she knew God has bigger plans for her. Because of this, Mariel plans to continue her modeling career at Australia and Italy soon.

This isn't the end of her story, this only the beginning. As of now, Mariel has been through ups and downs. Trial after trial she has conquered them all. Many tried to bring her down, many attempted to ruin her image, but she stayed true to herself. There were times she was at her lowest, moments she felt defeated and worthless, events she thought she no longer has a purpose, days she lost confidence and self-esteem, decisions she regretted to do and one of them is leaving the choir group for a year, and she compared herself to other people. But now, these incidents and memories are a part of her past. Whenever she looks back at those moments, all that she can do is smile. Because she knew she survived them all.
