Luke POV (aye)

"What are we going to do?" I shout, when I get back to them. My eyes glare at Calum and I walk up to him. "What are you going to do? Huh? Why would you say that to her?" I push him, and unfortunately he barely moves backwards, and I sigh. Damn Calum. Why does he have to be so muscular.

"Hold up," Ashton says, holding my arm and dragging me away from Calum. "What did he say?"

"He told her the truth," I snarl, gritting my teeth, "that her own dad doesn't want her and we are the only ones that care."

"Oh." Ashton lets go of my arm. "I um, I don't know, uh-"

"Save it," I dismiss. "Now she's gone and we have no idea where. She could be anywhere Ash, she has a mind of her own now and fuck." I want to break down into tears.

"Okay okay," Ashton thinks. "Where does she go?"

Michael huffs. "You don't even know what she does do you? I told her that you didn't care about that. But, even when we get her back, nothing will change right? You'll still be the arrogant asshole you always have been. How could you be so hostile to her?"

Ashton, who looks lost for words, shrugs. "Let's just find her." I scoff and shake my head.

"I'm gonna call her." I ignore Ashton's last statement because in my eyes it's irrelevant, and take my phone out of my pocket. Whatever happens, I'll find you.

Jessie POV

Sitting there awkwardly, I have my phone in one hand, and a can of cherry coke in the other. I knew it was a risk, but I didn't have anywhere else to go. I got to his house in half an hour, because the area wasn't too familiar with me, and he lives in quite a remote unusual neighborhood. But here I am, sitting on his desk chair in his bedroom. It's funny how things work out.

"Hi, I'm back," He walks in with mini chocolate donuts from Sainsbury's. My favourite. "Is it bad that I asked my girlfriend to come meet you?

"Not at all," I dismiss him, "are those donuts for me?"

He chuckles and places them beside me. I put my coke and phone on the floor in front of me and grab the donuts.

"You're funny Irwin, I like you." I smile at him, my mouth full of donuts.

"Why thank you."

We sit there in silence as I munch on donuts. "So um, what's wrong? Normally people are scared of those who they just met. I could have been a psycho killer for all you know."

I giggle, "Well, I thought I would take the risk. Better than being where I'm supposed to be." He gives me a questioning glance, and I take a deep breath, ready to explain.

"You will obviously know that my mum died after birth right? Well, since then my dad hasn't been very 'dad-like' towards me. Sure, he has his moments but usually he doesn't care. Michael told me today the harsh truth that he doesn't, and will never care for me, no matter what I do. And, hearing it from another person, yeah it sucks. Then Calum said something to me that was totally out of order just because I didn't go to violin today and they all thought I went missing. Anyway, my dad came in and told me off as he thought the whole commotion was me 'again'. So I ran and here I am."

"Whoa okay," Calum says slowly, the thought track processing in his head. "I can understand why you're here then. Just remember that even though we-" We hear the doorbell go, and Calum gets up excitedly.

"That must be her! Her name is Hannah, I'm sure you'll like her and vice versa."

I nod, and he leaves the room to get her. My phone goes off again for the third time and I sigh, looking at the caller ID: Lucas. I feel mean for not telling Luke where I was, but he would have to pick me up, and I don't want that. How have things got so messy so quickly? One moment I just came back from my ballet then the next I'm hiding out at a guys place who I just met on the train over an hour ago...life is strange.
