Dear Diary,

Tommorow I am going to start chemotherapy and I have been terrified. Jason knew exactly how I was feeling so at school he made Megan and Hannah come over.

This cancer drama hasn't been easy on them. I remember when I first told them...

Megan and Hannah skipped into Miss Scott's art class in order to get the seats next to the window. Usually we would have speed walked together but I was dejected about my disease. Hannah and Megan suspected something was up but they didn't ask until art.

"Why are you so upset Hayley?" Hannah asked.
"We love to pieces you can tell us anything," Megan added.
"Umm well I uhhh have been ill lately," I stuttered.
"You should've stayed of school," Hannah comforted.
"No, I am really really ill," I let out a desperate breath.
"What do you mean?" Megan asked.
"I'm dying from cancer, blood cancer," I said sharply as tears flooded my eyes.

For a moment everything was silent. Then suddenly Hannah ran out the class and moments later Megan followed. After debating with myself I walked out and searched for them.

After a while, I found them huddled in the toilets, crying an ocean...

I didn't mean to make everyone around me sad. But it's true what they say cancer is the loneliest of places.

See you,
Hayley.
