Chapter 10

Payne P.O.V

I laid on the bed of my new apartment, images of Victoria flashing through my mind.

It was my first day at Red Wood High and I couldn't stop thinking about her sing me that song.

I put my head in my hands I wasn't going to see her until the next meeting on Thursday.

I groaned an grabbed my bag heading out the door since I was already dressed.

Victoria P.O.V.

I was the first to enter class and I was greeted by the bright smile of Mrs Gray my favorite teacher.

'Victoria can I have a word ?' she asked politely.

"Sure Mrs G" I responded.

'I would like you to please give our new student a tour of the school"

"No problem" I said casually before taking my seat

Payne P.O.V

I strolled through the halls hearing whispers mostly of interest. I smirked at that.

On arriving at
the principals office I grabbed my schedule and headed out the door.

I saunter to class the ball RU g and students came rushing through the door glancing at me time after time.

I chose a seat next to a cool girl with beautiful dark curly hair, I looked closer to see that it was Victoria.
Her was down so I guessed she was asleep and I needed to find a way to wake her up.

"Class today we have a new student" I marched to the front of the class.
"Please tell us something about yourself" the teacher announced.

Victoria P.O.V

My head was resting on the desk as everyone filled into the classroom. I felt a presence next to me but I chose to ignore it.

Suddenly I heard
"Hello my name is Payne and I am in love with a girl named Victoria Reid"

I fell out of my chair and on to the floor.
There in front of my class stood Payne with his signature smirk.

"Victoria would you please do what I told you" Mrs Gray said.

I got up from the floor and smiled at my teacher before grabbing Payne arm and dragging him out of the classroom.

"You really can't resist me huh" he asked amused. I scoffed

Velvet POV
I came into class and saw this guy like OMG he was hot.

I would love to kiss those lips.

I spotted Victoria and glared at her peaceful form.

Ms Gray announced that we had a new student. I assumed he was the boy who I saw.

Ms Gray asked him something and he responded saying his name and that he was in love with Victoria I growled at that.

Victoria fell out of her chair everyone laughed but I shot daggers at her back.

Ms Gray told her something and she got up and grabbed the boy whose name is Payne hand and dragged him out of class.

She always got what I wanted and I want that boy and I will not stop until I have him.

The thing that bothered me was that he looked happy about being alone with Victoria I didn't like that.

Payne POV
After Victoria tour the day dragged on.

I have only been here for a few hour and I have already gotten several love notes and asked on many dates which I turned down.

I pushed I to the cafeteria and as I passed people parted like the
red sea.

I got to the front of the line quickly.
I bought myself a burger and fries and Victoria a pudding cup.
I went in search of Victoria.

Victoria POV

I am happy that someone who actually wanted to speak to me went to my school.

Currently in the front yard of the school eating my lunch under a shady tree nobody likes the front of the school since everyone who passes can she what your doing.

I like it because it's quite and I can just relax and enjoy the cool air on my face.

I am deep in though when I hear "Hello, earth to Victoria". I look up to see Payne.
"Hey" I say as he plops down beside me. "Here you go" he hands me a chocolate vanilla swirl pudding cup.
" Thanks" I tell him before opening it and eating it.

"Why are you at the front of the school by yourself" he asks
"I don't really have friends so I sit here and think about how suckish my life is" I chuckle at that.
"Don't say that" he tell me in a serious tone.
"Now I want to see you smile right now" he demands.
"I am going to count to three and if you dint smile bad things will happen"
One
Two
Three he counts and I am still frowning
"Okay you ask for it" he reaches over to me and begins tickling my side.
I squirm trying to get away but I fail.
"Smile" he says playfully. I huge grin grows on my face and he stops.
Now I begin tickling him.
It turns into a full on tickle fight and of course I lose.

Payne POV

The bell rings and our fingers and sides are paining. We pick up bags and head back inside the school.
Victoria and I have the last two periods together we have history.
We toke our seats at the front of the class.
Everyone was watching us.
"Why is everyone watching us" I asked her making her jump.
"Cause I'm not the type of girl they would expect you to be hanging out with"
"What type of girl are you "
She shrugged.
Just then a girl walked over to us and I heard Victoria swear.
"Shit" she whisper shouted.

Velvet POV

I strutted over to Victoria and that dreamy boy.
"Hey Victoria" I said with fake enthusiasm.
"Hello Velvet" she replied
"Aren't you going to introduce me to your friend" I asked polietly.
"Velvet this is Payne,
Payne this is Velvet " and we shook hands .
His hand was soft and smooth .
"It's nice to meet you Velvet" he told me with a casual tone.
Ms Dodds walked in and I toke my seat at the back of the class.

Victoria POV

I realsed a breath I didn't realize I was holding.
"What's wrong " Payne asked concerned.
"Nothing" I said shaking my head.
"Why you bombaklacs lyin" he sang to me making me smile.
I sighed "You know the Velvet that bullies me, you just shook her hand"
A look of anger toke over his face.
"Calm down boy"
"Don't worry I am stronger now and I have new shoulders to cry on if I ever need them" I said punching his shoulder playfully.
He smirked at me.
Which I thought was really creepy.
