*a few weeks later and it's the girls' 18th birthday, they wake up to their parents marching in loudly and waking them them up with a start*
Karen: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
Maya: uhhh mom what time is it?
Karen: 6:30
Maddie: what the hell are you doing getting us up at 6:30 in the morning
Karen: it's your birthday!
Liv: SO?!?!
Maddie: even I rarely get up this early on a normal day
Maya: who gets up early on their birthday?!?! I mean does that happen every year here?!
Pete: Karen I told you it was too early
Karen: but my little babies are eighteen
Maya: it's too early in the morning
Maddie: wayyy to early
Liv: seriously you can do all of this later
*karen pulls a bit of a hurt look and then Pete pushes her out and follows on behind, all of the girls are still sat up in their respective beds*
Maya: do they do that every year
Maddie: not usually this early but yeah
Liv: the one bad thing about our birthday
Maya: I heard them talking about a surprise party for tonight
Liv: I don't doubt it
Maddie: I'm gonna go for a run, I won't be able to get back to sleep now
Maya: I've got some stuff to do but I'm just gonna do it here
Liv: well I'm going back to bed because I need my beauty sleep
*Maddie and Maya roll their eyes mad then they all go about their respective things, starting to think about what to wear to the party
