Maya's 'friend'

*later that evening Liv had gone downstairs, she walked through the the living room into the kitchen at which time Maddie and Maya went up to their room, when Liv saw they were gone she knew they'd gone upstairs and so stayed in the living room and waited until the last possible moment to go back upstairs, when she finally did she found Maya asleep and Maddie climbing into bed, no words were spoken she just turned off the light and got into her own bed, the next morning Maddie had gone out for a morning run pretty early and Liv awoke to find Maya brushing her hair, as she sits up Maya finished brushing her hair and starts putting on some lipgloss, Liv sits up and is about make some snide and vicious remarks about the phone call she heard last night when the doorbell rings*
Maya: I've got it!
*as she turns to leave she's sees Liv's awake*
Maya: oh, good morning Liv
*and with that she heads downstairs, Liv flys out of bed and puts on her slipper boots, she chases after to see who it was, having her own suspicions but to her surprise as Maya opened the door it was a boy she didn't recognise, he smiles at Maya and she beamed back at him*
Lucas: can I?
*maya leaps in his arms and he spins her round before putting her back down, when he puts her down he sees Maya's foot strapped up and then notices the crutches behind the door*
Lucas: what happened to you?! You said there was an incident you didn't say you were on crutches
Maya: it doesn't matter, just a silly accident after a stupid misunderstanding
*liv feels a pang of guilt and feels extremely awful, she runs down the last few steps and almost pounces on her sister, hugging her so tightly as Maya stands there, arms her side, eyes wide open, almost fearful and being squashed, Liv finally lets go after a few seconds which felt like an eternity, Lucas is stood watching confused and slightly disturbed, he didn't understand girls as a generalisation just his friends, Liv actually reminded him as of Riley a little, the sparky, bouncy, happy and huggy, when Liv let go she looked Maya straight in the eye*
Liv: Maya I'm so so so sorry, I just got super jealous and I lost it, I wouldn't blame you if you hate me forever but.....
Maya: Liv I forgive you
Liv: what?!
Maya:I'm not really good at resentment or grudges so I'm okay, I know what it's like, I mean when the girl at school used to evil talk to Lucas is get really nervous about it
Lucas: not that there was ever any reason to, I love you end of story but you're kinda cute jealous
Maya: AWWW
Maya: so I'd have gone crazy if I thought either you or Maddie was doing something with him
Liv: wait! This is you're.....boyfriend?!?!
Lucas: yes ma'am, Lucas friar, nice to meet you
Liv: uh yeah you too
Maya: he's not from New York either, he's from Texas, he moved to New York about 4 years ago now and so we've been together for just over three
Liv: so have you two like.....kissed
*lucas chuckles and so does maya*
Maya: yeah obviously, it took a while but I'm pretty comfortable with him now so it's not so awkward for me, I still get a bit awkward but not so much anymore
Lucas: I know what it's like to have to live with Aspergers, my sister Isadora was diagnosed when she was a kid so I know how to deal with it
Maya: so it's nice, he gets me and he understands that sometimes I'm not as okay as other times, I have good days and bad days, but he knows how to calm me down and he's patient with me
Lucas: how could I not be? You're the cutest thing ever
*he turns to liv*
Lucas: I mean you're sister is adorable
Liv: I can't say I'd know, I haven't exactly given her a chance
Lucas: I can imagine it would be hard, Maya coming back after so long, but she's the most kind and generous person on this planet so do me a favour and take care of her for me
Liv: I'll try, I'm Liv by the way
Lucas: I know, I recognise you from all the shows and the pictures and the posters and stuff
Liv: but me and maddie do look a little more alike than Maya, we're actually identical
Lucas: I know but with the curly hair that's down and no glasses you're not Maddie, plus Maddie runs at this time in the morning
*liv looks at him, kinda freaked out, Maya sees the looks on her sisters face and giggles a little*
Maya: he's not some kind of creepy stalker, I've told him all about you guys and I've kinda been analysing your behaviour by accident, I look for patterns, it's what I do
Liv: oh okay
*she laughs a little and so do Maya and lucas*
Lucas: oh yeah nice pyjamas by the way
*liv looks down and remembers she's still in her pyjamas, Maya on the other hand is wearing a nice red dress*
Liv: oh yeah, I'll be back later
*she runs upstairs to get herself sorted, Maya and Lucas chuckle as she grabs her crutches and leads him over to the couch where they sit down*
Lucas: she's a special one, seems pretty nice
Maya: she is, and so talented
Lucas: you've said
*he laughs a little and she smiles with a faint chuckle but then his face turns serious*
Lucas: but she did that to you didn't she
*referring to Maya's ankle*
Maya: but she didn't mean it, it was an accident, I stumbled and feel, I twisted my ankle in the process
Lucas: I'm not judging, I like her I just wanted to know, I want to protect you, but she was obviously sorry so I'm not going to give her any grief about it
Maya: thank you
*they kiss, just a quick peck but still means everything between them*
