A chrome metallic hedgehog landed quietly inside a dried out lake, a large war plane directly in the middle with two war ships on either side, that were tipped. Behind him, a third ship was on the bank, capsized with a large hole in it's back. Large rocks as well as rocks in tall piles were all around him and on the bank as well. The robot, known as Metal, walked forward and activated his night-vision, his hands glowing slightly red as he powered up his hand blasters.

"Metal?"
The said robot jumped slightly before making an annoyed hissing sound and raising his hand up to his ear to answer.

"What, Sheri?!" He snapped and began walking again.

"It's Cherry and don't snap at me! You're the one who didn't call in like you said you would."

"Yes, well, I lied," Metal replied while looking around and readying his blasters again.

"You're an ass, you know that?"

"Yes, you never give me a chance to forget it," The dark blue male muttered before movement out of the corner of his visor caught his attention and he walked towards it.

"I heard that!"

He rolled his eyes before replying, "Of course you did, we're on the radio. If you don't want to get ticked off, just get off."

He arrived at the location where he spotted the movement and looked around then spotted something on the lake bed.

"As much as I want to, Metal, you and I both know I can't do that while your still on a solo mission"

Metal bent down and ran two clawed fingers along the boot print, his red eyes glowing brightly to make out the details. 'Is this...'

"ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME?!"

The robot assassin let out a low, annoyed groan before answering, "Yes, I've just spotted something. Metal, out"

"Wait! Me-"

Metal took his hand away, turned and walked back into the open. He looked all around as he walked, finally stopping in between a ship and the plane.

"I know your there, Fiona, now come out," The robotic speedster called out, letting Fiona know that her charade was over.

No answer. He de-activated his night-vision then activated his heat-sensor before looking around again.

"Your wasting your time hiding, Fiona," Metal called out once more.

Silence. Unknown to him, a gun slid though a hole in the war plane and the light glitzed off it's barrel. The owner of the gun turns it ever so slightly towards Metal and fires, a gunshot following suit.

"Dark shield," The assassin ordered calmly and a dark, crystal-like diamond shield appears around him just as the bullet was in range and it bounced off the shield.

"Not a smart move, Fiona. You've just given away your position," Metal called out as he looked around for the origin of the gunshot. 'Where the hell...?'

"Right. That explains why your looking around, doesn't it?"

"Making sure there's no possible witnesses around. After all I am assassin, I will kill you without hesitation," The robot retorted without missing a beat as he turned to where her voice sounded, lowering his shield and walking over to where he thought she was hiding.

Fiona grabbed something out of her pocket and snapped it onto her gun. "You don't know me, Metal. I've had practice killing since I was young. What makes you think you'll fair any differently from everyone else?"
