A/N: thank you for the beautiful cover, @AmyNadz, who for some reason I can't seem to tag.

I have changed my mind after (multiple requests about having an epilogue) that this is not the last chapter and the story will carry on about there life after marriage, I hope you enjoy.

Omnia POV.

I'm not sure how many hours have passed but, I knew one thing and that my legs were killing me. I couldn't dance anymore because I knew that if I did I would end up falling from the pain I was feeling at the bottom of my feet.

"Okay everyone please take your seats because it is time to cut the cake" my father says as he stood on the left side of the stage.

The moment he said that everyone who wasn't already on their seats slowly made their way to it.

Thank god the cake was in front of us and it did not consist of me walking anywhere, however I did have to stand.

"Are you okay?" Amir whispers, looking up at him I nod my head as I give him a reassuring smile. Standing up me and Amir both went to pick up the knife but my father stopped us.

"Before you cut the cake I have a speech I would like to make" my dad stood quietly as he cleared his throat, when he felt that he was ready he turned and faced Amir.

"I thought I would start my speech by addressing you as the 'new' family of my daughter. But i think it would be inappropriate because now that she is married you are 'the family' for her. Believe me I don't have a problem with that. I, in fact, want my daughter to have you, as her priority now. It's time for us to take a backseat in her life." He turns around and looks at my mother who had a smile on her face as she looked at my father with nothing but love.

"We would happily accept it but we would surely request one thing- please keep her happy. I am more then sure that you will keep her happy. She will perhaps be happier then what she used to be here. But like all fathers I obsess over my daughters happiness, which is making me say this over and over again- please keep her happy."

"She never was and will never be a burden for me. She is in fact the reason why I breath and smile. I am getting her married because this is what the law of nature demands."  The moment I saw a tear make its way down my fathers cheek, I felt the need to cry to, however I knew how I looked when I cried so I tried so hard to hold it in.

"I am helpless in the face of our culture and therefore sending her to your home. She was the happiness of my home and will now light up your home. I am giving my world to you so please make sure it remains beautiful. I am giving away my princess to you. Please make sure she stays as a queen."

"I have raised her with my blood and sweat and now she is wonderfully perfect. For all the care, love, warmth and beauty my daughter will bring into your life, I just want her happiness in return. What I'm trying to say is Please keep her happy." My father nods his head, which indicated that he has finished, an action my father tends to do every time he finishes speaking.

"Indeed I will keep her happy, she to is my world, my light, her happiness is what keeps me moving throughout the day. Without it I see no meaning in this life, so father don't worry I will indeed keep your princess and my queen forever happy, inshallah" was Amirs reply.

"Now you may cut the cake" my father says as he makes his way to where my mother was sitting.

Amir takes my hand and guides me to the knife, making sure his hands was on top of mine so that he could guide it to the cake.
