Omnia's POV.
"You look much more comfortable out of your wedding dress" I can see the humour in Amirs face, the whole way home I was talking about how I can't wait to take this wedding dress off me.
"Indeed I am, Alhamdullilah I feel as though a whole weight has been lifted of my shoulder" the moment I said that he grabbed my hands and pulled me so that I sat on the bed next to him.
We just sat there staring at eachother for what felt like ages, I felt like looking away because I knew that my face has changed into its natural colour when I'm around Amir.
Red.
I also didn't want to say anything so that I didn't ruin this moment that we are having, since I tend to do that.
"Wallahi you are so breath taking, so... I don't think a word is even created to describe your beauty." I took a big gulp, the moment he said those words to me, I can swear he must have heard it from how loud it was.
"As the Prophet (saw) said in a hadith, 'When I met Yusuf (as), I saw that Allah (swt) has blessed him with half of the beauty of the whole world, while the other half has been spread over the rest of it' but in my eyes the rest was actually blessed upon you" I opened my mouth to say something but then nothing came out and I just stood there with my mouth open.
"I've never seen anyone as beautiful as you, ever since the moment I laid eyes on you when we were kids I knew you were the one for me and no other girl could ever take your place" hearing him say everything he was saying, was making my heart beat escalate.
"you are my first love, my first wife my first everything and inshallah you will be my one and only until my last breath"
How can I tell him what Mr Dean has done to me after him telling me that I am his one and only?
I can just imagine the look on his face when I tell him that, I can just see something breaking inside him, his eyes that tells me everything no matter how hard he tries to hide it, will tell me everything I needed to know.
"What happened you don't like the photos? I thought you'd like them just as much as me" the moment I heard that I quickly turned around and looked at him.
"What is the matter with you, how can you do such a thing? How low can you be?" Walking slowly towards him, I repeatedly reminded myself to take steady breaths to calm myself because the way that I was feeling, was neither good for me or those around me.
"You think that just because you have money that you can do whatever you please? Is that what it is?" I stop right in front of him, he relaxes more into his seat as he looks up at me with that irritating smirk on his face.
"Ofcourse is that even a question" he lifts up one eyebrow making it look like I just asked a ridiculous question.
"You think that Money is going to actually benefit you?" I give him a confused look, I swear if he says yes he is going to look like the biggest idiot.
"Are you being stupid ofcourse it will actually benefit me, look at me" he says the word actually the same way I just stretched it minutes ago for him.
"It'll only benefit you in this life but it'll never benefit you in the afterlife, because in the after life a "human being can have nothing but what he has earned (good or bad)."[53:39] the moment I said that he started to laugh, as if I said the funniest joke.
"So you are trying to tell me that I won't gain anything out of everything I'm doing here? Am I hearing this right?" I saw a smirk make its way into my face as he waited for my next words.
"Yes that is exactly what I am saying, because as our prophet (SAW) said 'The best that a man can leave behind after his death are three things: a righteous child who makes du'a for him, an ongoing sadaqah (charity) whose rewards continue to reach him, and a knowledge that continues to be implemented after him." I just stood there staring as the smirk in his face got even brighter.
"I can't believe you are saying such ridiculous things and what makes it worse is that you actually genuinely believe in what you are saying" the moment he finished speaking he straight away started to laugh.
Feeling anger build up within me the moment I realised why he was laughing, all I could see was red.
How dare he disrespect my religion like that? Looking around I saw the bottle on the table and quickly took it and poured it over his head.
The moment the liquid hit his head he quickly opened his eyes as shock was written all over his face.
"Never, and I mean ever disrespect my Religion like that, I don't care if you disrespect me but never Islam my Deen."
