"Now, rember what I said. You are Ashley Timore. Your parents left you at age 14. You've been living on your own ever since. Got it? Doesn't matter. You get a weekly allowance of $2,000 to make sure you don't starve." My annoyed mother says into the phone. "Most importantly, don't forget..." We love you? "Nobody can ever find out about your past." No such luck. My mother hangs up the phone and I sit back in the driver's seat of my car. First day of school. I'm a sophomore. The "akward" highschool student group. I get over myself and decide it's finally time to go in.

By the time I get to the front office my palms are sweaty and I'm sure everyone can hear my loud heart beats. I take off my sunglasses and shove them into my purse. "May I have my schedule?" I ask the woman at the front desk. She asks for my name and I almost slip up. Almost. "Mar-Ashley. S-sorry. I mean Ashley Timore." I say blushing. She gives me a questioning look but doesn't say anything. She hands me a slip of paper, and I'm off. Or so I thought. As soon as I round the corner I trip over my own two feet dropping everything onto the floor. I bend down to pick everything up. Man, I really need to work on being less clumsy. Once my things are all back in my bag I resume walking. Room 144. Got it. Not too hard, I just... need to find it now. Still deep in thought I hardly notice a group of three guys walking toward me. I run into the guy in the middle. He's. So. Gorgeous. "Watch where your going new girl." He practically spits in my face. "Well, someone sure needs an attitude check." I say without thinking. Oh, no. I'm supposed to NOT draw attention to myself. Too late. Almost 20 people are crowed around us. The guys vibrant green eyes harden. Hm. He wants a fight? He can have one. "Excuse me. But I will have you know that it's not my fault you are practically blind!" He hisses. This guy just won't give up! "Listen buddy. I don't appreciate your tone, so how about you waltz on back to your perfect little fantasy highschool life, and I go back to finding my class, okay?" I say with rudeness dripping from each word. With that I push my way through him and his friends, who by the way, are probably around a foot taller than my 5'3" figure. I leave letting my loose blonde curls bounce with every step. Without any warning at all a pair of muscular arms wrapped around my waist and I'm hoisted into the same pair of arms. I'm now being carried bridal style.... the opposite way I'm supposed to go. I think. "Put me down!" I yell, but it doesn't do any good. I can't tell where I am going, or who is taking me there either. The person finally stops in front of a closed door that he opens. It's a janitors closet. What. The . Heck. The pair of arms drops me on the floor in the middle of the room. "Explain." I say waiting for answers. I look up from beneath the curtain of blonde, I call hair. "You see, Andre is having a bad day. I thought I should let you know before you get the crap beaten out of you. Not that he would hit a girl, but-" it's one of that jerks friends. "JUST SHUT UP!" I yell. The innocent looking blonde guy immediately shuts his mouth and his voice trails off. I stand up and brush the dirt and dust off my jeans. "You should keep an eye on your Andre friend, before he gets the crap beaten outta him. Cause I can hit guys if I need to." I say honestly.

So... that happened. Let's just say Miss Marianna/ Ashley can be a bit salty. But, to her defence she was just practically disowned by her parents because they got a divorce and she didn't want to live with them anymore. Of course, there is way more to her past than that but you'll just have to wait! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND READING THE STORY DESCRIPTION IN CASE YOU WANT MORE INFO ON HER PAST!
As always, thanks for reading and please comment your opinion!
MUCH LOVE,
Kayla❤
