My first period class begins with me entering the room hand in hand with the one, the only, Andre Simmons! Okay, sorry for the dramatic entrance couldn't help it.

We take a seat at our desks and I feel a slight change in the atmosphere. I turn my head around slowly... there they are Jason and Eric looking happy as ever. I think. I flash a smile at the two and Jason simply looks down at the table. "Geez, Ashley! My hand!" Andre sits as I look down at my hand crushing poor Andre's hand. My checks flush and my face feels warm "I'm so sorry!" I say taking his hang gingerly this time.

"Class! Because of the fact that i simply don't think you all properly introduced yourselves you have another full period to get to know your lab partner. " Or science teacher announces. I think she's just to lazy to right out the lesson plan, but hey! I'm not complaining. I turn toward Andre who has the same grin had on his face from the other night. I saw his shoulder with my free hand. "Your smile is getting kind of creepy..." I say to him. I suddenly realize he isn't staring at me he's staring behind me.

I drop his hand and spin around to see what the fuss was about. There is nobody or any thing there. I turn back to face Andre and he's still grinning an idiot. "Andre." I say sternly in hopes of getting him to look at me. "Andre!" I say louder getting frustrated. I swear next time I'm gonna slap him. He doesn't respond so I keep my word.

I slap Andre and his eyes shift over to me and his hand shoots to his face. "Ow!" He exclaims. Behind us Eric begins to laugh. I turn my head to him "I've got another hand just itching to slap someone else." I say going he would quit laughing. No such luck. I roll my eyes at his immature style and turn my attention back to Andre.

"What were you staring at?" I ask him crossing my arms over my chest. He laughs lightly. "Nothing." He says. I trust him but 'nothing' took a slap to steal attention from. I stare into his eyes waiting for the truth. He smiles, less creepy than before so that makes me feel better. He presses his smile onto my lips pulling me into a kiss for only a few months before I pull away. "Not in class Andre!" I whisper. He laughs and hugs me instead.

~LUNCH~

I sit at the usual table escorted there by Andre. After I sit down I notice everyone staring me. Well accept for Andre who, for once, decided to stop staring at me.

Lilly cautiously opens her mouth but Max shoots her a look and he quickly shuts it. Eric on the other hand ignores all looks throw his way, "He kissed you. In class. He never does that!" Did he just... compare me to A Andre's past girlfriends? How dare he. I stand up from the table quickly and leave the Cafeteria. I won't be compared here too. "Ashy! Wait!" Andre calls from behind me. I don't spare a glance at him. I need to be alone. If I'm drowned in comparing and contrasting, then expectations, and forcing. I'll run. I did once. I could do it again. I'm runner. It's who I am.
