Chapter Fourteen: Once a year

Before I knew it 4 months had passed with me spending my days reading with Ivan and only talking when I had to castiel never asked to train again and flos was peppy as usual no one knew me better but I knew them they stopped to talk to friends and to think I heard everything I knew more about them than they about themselves.

"I was hoping to invite you to a party this afternoon " he asks out of the blue after 4 hours of silence
"What?"I say out of surprise
"You don't have to come if you don't want to I just thought you would like to spend more time with immortals we meet every year "he says while reading

"It's very eloquent so I bought something for you I hope you like it "he says as he pulls out a large box from under his chair and hands it to me "you don't have to wear it if you don't like it"he says quietly
"I'm sure it's beauti--"as I open the box I am shocked by what I find inside it is a deep Crimson silk dress that ends at a slant at my ankles with one side draping to the floor "it's beautiful thank you "I say as he scoots closer and hands me Raven black gloves
"For your gift I'm sure you don't want people to know but I can never be to careful after all you are going to be shaking hands" he whispers
"Thank you I should go get ready"I say as I pick up the dress and give him a light kiss on the cheek and run off to my room to get changed on the way everyone is stairing at me because I never leave Ivan before 11 o'Clock I duck my head hoping not to make any more attention then needed which in my case is none Stop stairing at me I did nothing.
"Lilith where did you get that dress where are you going and you must have done something because that dress must have cost a fortune" said the one and only flos
"I-well- it was a gift not help me find shoes and Do my hair "I stammer
"Oh my god you must be desperate cause you never ask for my help " she says as a devious grin curls across her face.
