Chapter 1: Into Beacon We Go

A/N Welcome, as most of you know this is a "Remastered" version of "Ruby (Ruby Rose X Reader)."
Why "Remastered" well since I'm rewriting the  chapters it would be dumb to call it "Revisited" anyway on with the New And Improved "Ruby (Ruby Rose X Reader)"

As I walked home on a cold night, I moved my hand up to my face, feeling the scar that ran across my cheek. Those memories would always be with me. The day I saved one of my best friends, Blake Belladonna.

(Y/N, 11 Years Old)

I was walking down the street on one sunny afternoon. The small breeze that I felt across my face, I reached my destination, the park. I would go here once and awhile to think, or to chat with Blake Belladonna, my best friend. I met her when I was walking down the street with my father, we were walking down the street when we seen the protest, or rally that was going on. I needed to pass through it though, so you and your father started to walk through the crowd. And that's when I bumped into someone

"Ow" the voice said
"I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention" I   said crouching down
"It's fine, I'm Blake" she said smiling at you
"Y/N" I say offering you hand which she took
"So, your here to protest" I say pointing to her sign she has
"Yeah"
"That's nice"
"Y/N, May we continue to the park" My Father, Ozpin said looking at you
"Yeah, Bye Blake. Good luck with the protest"
"Bye Y/N, Thank you"

We both waved goodbye as me and Ozpin walked off.

"Man, Good times" i said quietly

I walked for a few minutes around the park until you heard the sound of someone struggling, I turned and saw two people push someone into a alley. I started to walk towards them, picking up the pace slightly once I heard a faint "Help". I soon reached the alley and seen a sight I can never forget. There was Blake, in a corner with the two perverts slowly walking towards her

"Looks like we hit the jackpot" one said
"Yeah, that's right. I wonder what she-"

He never got to finish that sentence since I hit him with a piece of wood i found on the ground. He fell and his partner turned to be

"You can't just hurt people little boy..." He said taking out a knife
"Now, il hurt you back"

He rushed towards me, I dodged and hit him in the back. He turned, cracked his back and charged again. I tried to block but I failed and he knocked me to the ground. We were fighting over the knife when he managed to get a hold of it and slice my cheek open. I screamed in pain as I hit him in the face with a well placed right hook. He fell off me, I sat up and Blake ran towards me

"Y/N!" She said jumping up and running over to me
"I'm fine Blake" I said as she examined my wound
"Here, it may be gross but hold still"

I felt her lick my cheek, I was wasn't as grossed out since I knew Blake was a faunus, a cat to be exact but that's beside the point.

"There, thank you Y/N" she said pulling away from my cheek before hugging me
"Shhhhh, your welcome"

She started to cry into my shirt. Then she said

"I'm so glad you were near, something tells me bad things would of happened to me"
"Yeah, but your safe now right"
"Yeah"

The police came a short time after, they arrested the perverts and then questioned Blake as the paramedics put bandages on my cheek.

"My son, Where is he" I heard my dad say
"You must be Ozpin, follow me sir"

I seen the police move away and start to walk towards me with my dad behind him. He seen me and ran towards me
