Chapter 7: Shadow Of The Grimm-ssus

You sat on the ground, leaning against the tree as you watched the school fight this huge Grimm, you had been injured and knocked into a tree. You were losing to much blood all to fast, but we're getting ahead of ourselves, let's go back to the dorm, at the beginning of the day to find out what happened

(Flashback)

You woke to the sound of Ruby, she was lightly snoring as you say up, you smiled and got up, walking to the bathroom you opened it and went inside, changing your clothes you made your way out and saw Ruby not sitting up with a pout on her face

"What's wrong?" You ask
"You left"
"what, what do you mean"
"You went to the bathroom and left me, I got cold"
"Really, your mad at be because your cold"
"Mmhm"

You hugged her and she hugged back, it lasted a minute or so until you pulled back and smiled

"Time to get ready for class" you said as you back up and walked towards the door, she groaned and got up grabbing her uniform she went to the bathroom. You waited a bit until she came out

"Ready?"
"Yeah, let's go before everyone gets up"

You and Ruby left and started for classes

"It's still pretty early, want to just walk around"
"Sure, I'd like that"

You and her walked around, just chatting and looking at random stuff, little did you know what would happen if just a few hours

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

"Okay Kids" Glynda said as the kids stepped of the bus
"There is a very dangerous type of Grimm, you all will need to take it down, understand?"

Everyone nodded and we went out looking for the Grimm, we all moved in one big group since it was suicide to go alone,

"What's that?" A kid in the front said

You all looked and saw a huge Grimm,
(Think of Shadow of the Colossus, except in Grimm form, BTW huge fan of shadow of the colossus)
It roared and rushed towards the group, everyone then ran around trying to dodge it, but you knew what to do, running towards it you jumped on the fur that was covering it and started to climb

"THIS IS LIKE REAL-LIFE SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS" you said loud enough to where everyone including Glynda can hear you

You continued to climb as the Grimm tried to knock you off a couple of times, you reached the top and took out your sword, driving it into its neck it started to toss and turn, Shaking violently, you got a few stabs until you fell off, gabbing on before you hit the bottom, you fellow classmates were attacking the bottom as you climbed the Grimm-ossi (if you get that you get a award) you reached the top again, climbing onto its face and driving your sword into the forehead of the Grimm-ossi, it roared and managed to hit you, you fell to the ground, hitting the Grimm-ossi several times managed to make you bleed, finally hitting the ground you crawled to a tree and leaned against it, watching your classmates attacking the Grimm-ossi. You were losing to much blood all to fast, you knew it would be a while before someone could get you without being hit by the Grimm-ossi, feeling dizzy you knew his is it, it's the end of the line. . . Risking your life for your friends, classmates. . . Ruby. You jumped up despite the pain and started to climb the Grimm-ossi, it took awhile since you were injured but your finally got to the top, taking out your sword and driving it into its forehead again, it roared as everyone watched you

"S-Sacrifice, Just like in the game"

The Grimm-ossi started to fall forwards, you waited till it was close enough to jump off and land in front of it, hitting the ground with a loud thud, you watched as it released black gas that flew around until slowly disappearing, you smiled as you laid back, you heard rapid footsteps behind you until you saw Ruby crouch next to you

"Y/N, please tell me your okay"
"I-I'm Not going to make it"
"Yes, yes you are, don't give me that"
"I love you, I love you Ruby"
"Y/N, Y/N!" She shouted as you passed out

It's been a few weeks since you passed out, you haven't woken up yet, Ruby and her team come along to you almost five times a week, Ruby come almost daily. Everyone is pretty sad at what you did, sacrificing your self for the love of your friends, girlfriend, and just love of you classmates, you did everything in your power to save everyone, but couldn't save yourself. You still have all your vitals working so you aren't dead, but little did everyone know, you weren't going to wake up, the doctors knew but only them, not even Ozpin knew. . . But sometimes, the docs are wrong.

"Y/N, I'm sorry for not being there when you first got hurt, I love you" Ruby said next to you
"Come on sis, he ain't going to get up anytime soon" Yang said putting a hand on her shoulder.
"Okay, bye Y/N"

They headed for the door until, you opened your eyes, the memories of everything that happened and everything that you went through passed through your mind, the Grimm-ossi, the day you became a couple, the day you met, the day you met your parents, the day, you supposedly died

"R-Ruby, Yang"

They were shocked but still turned around to see you sitting up

"Y/N, Your a-alive"
"Well, one Grimm-Ossi ain't bringing down a huntsmen il tell you that much"

She ran and hugged you

"I knew you weren't going to die, I just knew"
"Good thing you did"

That was a week ago, you were a walking legend, taking down a Grimm-ossi which was know a kind of boss Grimm, and someone who cheated death even though you stared right into the face of it, being on the head of the Grimm-ossi you saw its eyes, blue eyes with the small black in the pupil in the middle, it sent chills down your spine as you drove your sword into it, everything slowly turned to normal, you still had slight pain from getting hit from the Grimm-ossi, everyone was just happy you were alive, and when you grew old and got married to the love of your life, you went down in history as a great friend, great boyfriend and husband, and a legendary Grimm-ossi killer
