I was awoken from sleep when my stomach began to tighten, a sour taste forming in my mouth. I threw the covers off and turned to my opposite side, feeling extremely uncomfortable. Taking in a deep breath, I turned once again. Irritation itched at me, which made my anger build. I dragged my sore body out of bed, put some clothes on, and walked down the stairs.

The view from our new place was absolutely incredible. The sky was several different shades and tints of blue, pink, and yellow-orange. Making my way into the kitchen, I glanced at the time on the microwave. 6:20 am.

I opened the cabinet and grabbed a mug. We recently bought a coffee maker that came with little cups of flavorings like french vanilla, caramel, and snicker doodle. I placed my cup underneath the opening that the coffee poured from. I picked up the small snicker doodle container and placed it in the machine, closing the top and turning it on. My stomach gradually went back to acting normally, but the same feelings of irritation and uncomfortableness still lingered.

Placing my elbows on the counter, I rested my head in my hands and took in deep breaths through my nose and out my mouth. At this moment, I remembered I was supposed to start my period a couple days ago. "Shit," I cursed under my breath. The smell of the blended bitter coffee and sweet snicker doodle filled my lungs, calming my nerves a bit. I picked up the mug, my ring that Sehun gave me on our two year anniversary clinking against the ceramic. Unlocking the back door, I opened it.

Cold air hugged my face and feet. I shivered as little bumps rose on my skin. I took a seat on the porch swing, sitting crisscross with my feet between my folded legs, keeping them warm. Breathing in the cold air chilled my throat and lungs, but soon disappeared as I took a sip of coffee. The air was quite refreshing.

Sehun's P.O.V.

A feeling of something being off crept upon me during sleep, pulling me out of my dream, and I realized (y/n) wasn't in the bed with me. I sat up, putting on a sweater and a pair of pants. I stretched and rubbed my eyes before going downstairs. As I ambled down the steps, I noticed that (y/n) was sitting outside on the swing, slowly rocking with a mug in her hands.

Your P.O.V.

I watched the clouds in the sky glow different shades of pink and orange. One of my favorite things about nature was the sky. Everything about it was perfect and beautiful. That only a blue layer separates us from the great unknown. From outside this galaxy. From death.

It saddens me that so much pollution and agriculture could cause a beautiful sheet to thin and wither away, like the dying petals of a rose. And it's crazy to know that if it does happen, the earth will still be here. It's humans that will go. We are all slowly killing ourselves. Some of us try to change it, but there are so many who are stuck in their own ways.

It'll never be fixed until the last minute when people realize that they royally effed up. But I'd rather not focus on the negative. I like to think that everyone does care. That's why they are trying to create cars that don't require taking oil from other lands in order to work. A car that won't suck up the earth's natural resources, and in return, pollute the air we all share.

The sounds of birds chirping and small mammals running about replaced the silence and broke me out of my thoughts. I took another sip of coffee as a sliver of sun peeked over the mountain. The door creaked open, letting me know that Sehun was awake.

The cushion to my left dented as he sat beside me. "Morning," he greeted with a smile. "Good morning," I smiled back. I took another deep breath. "Beautiful, isn't it?" I asked, bringing the edge of the mug back up to my lips.

"It really is." We sat there in peaceful silence, the chair softly swinging back and forth. I held out my mug of coffee, offering some Sehun. He put his fingers around the hot white glass, taking a sip. He set it back down in my hands.

"Are you okay?" he questioned. "Yeah. Why?" "You just weren't in the bed when I woke up, which is odd because I'm usually up before you," Sehun explained with a grin. "Oh, I just had a bit of a stomach ache this morning. That's all," you lied. "Do you need to go to the doctor?" "No, I'll be fine. Thank you for asking though." "You sure?" he questioned, scrunching his eyebrows. I grabbed ahold of his hand, lacing our fingers together. "I'm sure. So what are our plans for today?"

"I was hoping that we could go on a hike and have a picnic. They have several trails that go through rocks, waterfalls, and over streams near here. I'm sure we can find a bench to sit at to eat as well. There's plenty around." "I like the sound of that," I told him, giving his hand a squeeze.

I put two halves of a bagel in the toaster and pushed down the latch knob. Picking up a spreading knife from the drawer, I twirled it around my fingers. "Careful," Sehun said, looking up from a map he was observing. It showed all the different trails to explore. Even a "hidden" trail that goes behind a waterfall.

"I've been doing this ever since I was 12. I know what I'm doing," I assured. I then pretended to be stabbed by the knife, falling to my knees for a little dramatic effect. "Hahaha very funny," he intoned. "I know I am," I smiled, standing back up as the bagels popped out of the toaster, making me jump.

"Now that was actually funny," Sehun laughed. I glanced at him, thinking about how amazing his smile was. "Yeah, what ever," I mumbled. I opened a small tub of cream cheese and gathered some on the dull knife.

"Here you go." I set down a plate with two halves of a cream cheese smeared bagel on it. "Thanks, babe."
"You're welcome," I replied and took a seat across from him, crossing my legs in the chair, which was a habit of mine. "I think we should take the most scenic trail. Lots of crossing bridges, waterfalls, tree climbing." "Scenic route it is then," I grinned, taking a bite of my bagel, which gave me a cream cheese mustache.

"Hey," I whispered to Sehun. He looked back up from the map. "How do I look?" I asked, puckering my lips and wiggling my eyebrows. "Like Freddie Mercury if he dyed his mustache white," he chuckled. "I'll take that as a compliment," I laughed in a more breathy way.

Sehun playfully rolled his eyes, looking down at the green and blue map with red, yellow, and purple lines. Dots on the lines had writing, which I guess was the name of the area. "Hurry up and eat. We need to leave soon and start walking before anyone else does." "Okay. Hakuna your tatas." Sehun glared at me, but a small smile broke out on his face. I put my hands under my chin, tilting my head and grinning.

He pointed to my bagel, hinting for me to keep eating. Putting my pointer finger on the bagel, I got a bit of cream cheese on it. Getting up, I made my way to Sehun's side of the table. "What are you doing?" he asked. "Nothing," I replied, swiftly wiping the cream cheese on his cheek.

I stuck out my tongue, giggling. "You're so mean," he pouted and pulled me on to his lap. I ran my fingers, on my left hand, through Sehun's hair as his lips neared mine. Instead of kissing, Sehun turned his head and smeared the cream cheese on my lips.

I squinted my eyes. He threw his head back, laughing. "I will punch you," I grumbled. Sehun eyed the smear on my lips and I cleared my throat, his gaze meeting mine again. He leaned in, closing the gap between us. It wasn't a normal kiss, but more of a I'm-trying-to-get-the-cream-cheese-off-your-lips kiss.

His tongue brushed across my top lip. I poked mine out, touching it with his. I bit down on my tongue, trying to hold in my childish giggles. Sehun rested a hand on my side and moved his fingers as if he were playing my ribs as a piano, tickling me.

"No!" I laughed, trying to stand up. Sehun had his other arm over my waist, keeping me from getting out of this situation. I grabbed ahold of his fingers and leaned back as I laughed. "Please, no more!"
"I'll stop for a kiss."

"Fine!" I wrapped my hand around the back of Sehun's neck, pulling his lips to mine. He released me from his grip. "Now eat so we can leave." "I will," I whined, sitting back down in my chair. I didn't want to worry Sehun while we were on vacation, so I didn't bother telling him about what I really went through early this morning, and eventually forgot about it. Little did I know, almost one month later, I'd find out that I was pregnant with his child.
