It had been a week since you came in counter with your astonishingly beautiful guardian angel, Namjoon. You couldn't keep him off your mind for not even one minute. You just wanted to see him again.
You sighed, tossing and turning in your bed. You couldn't keep still and decided that maybe a walk would be best for your restless legs. The large door to your room creaked open, and you tiptoed down the hallway, making sure not to draw any attention towards your direction.
Once making it outside the castle, you gingerly snuck past the guards roaming around the vicinity, and out onto a trail leading to a massive cliff that overlooked the ocean. Fireflies lit up the dark parts of the path that the moon couldn't. The frosty air burnt your lungs, but you didn't mind.
You started to feel as if someone was watching you. Turning around, there was nobody there. You continued down the path, soon hearing the water crashing against the rocks below the cliff.
"Boo," you heard somebody say from behind, and you gave a startled gasp. You spun around to see that handsome, lilac guardian angel of yours, giving you an innocent smile. He had the cutest dimples.
"Don't do that," you whined. "Aw, did I scare you?" he chuckled, approaching where you stood. "No, not at all," you said sarcastically. "I'm sorry," he apologized. You forgave him with an endearing side smile.
"This place is stunning," Namjoon commented. "It is. I always come here when in need of a place to relax and think," you replied, standing on a rock a little below Namjoon.
A gust of cold air blew against your bare skin underneath the coat you wore, and you shivered at the unpleasant contact. Suddenly, Namjoon closed the gap, his large wings wrapping around your figure, blocking the wind.
"Oh, um. Thank you," you blushed. The heat from his body radiated against your face as it was only centimeters from his chest. You looked up at him, eyes getting caught on his soft, enticing pink lips.
Your want to feel them on your own overpowered you, and didn't care whether it was right and wrong. Placing two small hands on his broad chest, you stood on your toes, catching his lips in a long, warm kiss.
You slowly pulled away, but he used his wings to bring you even closer, placing a hand on your cheek. He reattached his lips to yours, but this time the kiss was stronger and more passionate. Breaking the kiss, he gave a quick peck before letting your feet fully touch the rock again.
The sun was now emerging over the horizon, and your gaze, along with his, fell in that direction. This shared moment was one you would never forget.
Time Skip
The seasons were changing, and the spot you once occupied alone was now the one you shared with Namjoon. The snow melted and was replaced by lush green grass and bright orange, blue, and white flowers.
Fluffy forest creatures were waking up from their snowy winter naps and getting ready to find a new mate for the flowery season of spring.
Ever since the day you gave your first kiss to Namjoon, you had been seeing each other more often at the cliff. It seemed like you learned something new about him each time you two were together, like what kind of powers he possessed and his life before becoming an angel.
Today was one of those days. He sat back in your lap as you played with his hair. Plucking flowers from their stems, you intertwined them in his lilac locks. The white flowers contrasted nicely with the light purple.
A leaf blew across his lap, and he snatched it up, holding it in his hand whilst picking a couple of white and orange flowers from a small patch. "Watch this," he said. He placed his left hand over the right with the leaf and flowers inside.
A faint golden glow came from between the cracks before fading away. Opening his palm revealed an adorable little creature. It was a tiny lion created of leaves with an orange and white mane made of petals.
The lion awoke with a yawn, and blinked at us before hopping up his arm and on to your shoulder, using its tiny leaf tongue to lick your cheek. "That's amazing," you giggled. "Can I keep it? A piece of you to keep with me when you're gone."
"Of course, but I've got something better that you can keep with you," he said, facing you. Namjoon removed the necklace from around his neck and placed it around yours. "This crystal is supposed to bring safety to those who wear it, and I want you to have it."
"Namjoon, I can't-" he silenced you with a tender kiss. "Please. For me." You nodded, and his lips connected with yours once more. "Bleh," the little lion hissed, causing you to softly chuckle.
