ADELAIDE
STEPPED OUT
of her shared winnebago with Chris and made her way towards Sebastian's. The hot sun of June hit the top of her head and back, instantly warming her up.

With a bottle of red wine, two glasses and a bag of Doritos; she was set to start her hours and hours of talking about the most random things. She couldn't help but feel nervous. Would this be a bad idea? Start something that could end badly? she laughed off her thoughts. Why would she be worried? Sebastian's not attracted her in that certain way, he recently broke off his engagement with Margarita; the man is possibly still licking his wounds. As she continued to walk, she felt herself trip over herself. Coughing awkwardly as she regained her balance. Hoping no one saw.

Few minutes of walking, she saw the door with his name, bold. Just like how it was a month and two weeks ago. Placing the alcoholic beverage and bag of chips in one hand, the other free one knocked softly onto the door. Not even seconds later, the door swung open, a wide smile Sebastian, his hair fallen onto his face. "Hey." Sebastian breathed. "Hi." Addie returned the greeting. The two stood there, in silence, it felt comforting. They stared at each other like thirteen year olds going out onto their first date. "Uh, come in." The Romanian stammered. Moving a bit to allow the brunette to enter, she showed his a warm smile, signaling that to be a 'Thank You.' Addie began to look around, remembering the first time she saw inside, everything organized in their place. Biting her lower lip to suppress a smile ─ for a man who always looks homeless, he sure can keep everything in place.

"What's that you got there?" Sebastian asked, pointing to the bottle and bag. Addie brought it up into view, the bottle of wine in one hand and a bag of Doritos in the other. "I thought of bringing a welcoming gift."

Sebastian chuckled. "Wow, after a month and a half, of knowing you. Pretty damn amazing."

"Doritos and wine, what a unique combination, Adelaide." Addie's heart leaped at the sound of him using her full name. "Best combination, actually."

Sebastian, was thinking of what to say next. "Here, you want to sit on the couch?" He gestured over to the redwood colored couch. Addie nodded and sat over onto the couch. As the two got comfortable, she started off.

"So, how's you and your friend doing since I last saw you?" Motioning towards Sebastian's lower region. Immediately, a dark shade of red arose onto his pale cheeks, stammering, trying to find words to say. "Great, better than it could ever be." His eyes grew wide at the words he said, mentally smacking him self repeatedly. "Awesome. Alright so, have anything to open this?" Waving the bottle of wine in front of him.

Laughs and giggle filled the room. The two intoxicated, neither one of them could shut up. Making up jokes that made absolutely no sense would both would laugh their asses off at how ridiculous the joke was. More and more alcoholic beverages filled the small coffee table. The alcohol coursing through their veins, skin burning like fire to the touch; both flushed from laughing, alcohol and the tension between them.

Soon the laughter died down, both in silence. Gazing into each others eyes. Both could feel their heart racing. Sebastian couldn't take his eyes off of her the second she walked in, he was so mesmerized by how beautiful she was. He knew he was falling hard for her and fast.

"There's something I've been wanting to tell you Seb." Addie looked down at her now empty glass.

"What is it?"
He began to scoot closer to her ─ the alcohol that ran through him, calmed him down, gave him a boost of confidence. He inched closer to her, and so did she.

Not long after, both their faces were inches away from each other, their breaths fanning over each other with the smell of alcohol made them feel dizzy.

"The thing is, I really like you, hell, feels more like love." She flickered her eyes up and down, from his eyes and lips. He did as well, wetting his now dry lips as they inched and inched closer. "But, I can't let myself do that. It scares the shit out of me."

"It's scares me too, one day everything can be perfect but the next everything turns to shit and hits your like a train." Sebastian said, his voice is now low and raspy as the alcohol was hitting him.

"But let's take that chance, see where it leads us." Addie's heart leaped at what he said, he felt the same? One of his hands went to get a hold of her small delicate hands. "I can't." He could see her eyes becoming glossy, he would blink his eyes rapidly trying to contain himself. Adelaide immediately stood up from where she sat. "I'm sorry." Sniffling as she stared at him. She left winnebago, closing behind her, tears began to fall; but she furiously wiped them off and headed her way back to hers and Chris' place.

Sebastian sat where he was, his eyes were droopy, having a gloomy look on his features. Grabbing one of the bottles off the table, taking a long, big swig, as some of the alcohol trickled down his mouth onto his neck.
