Chapter 12

Ryder's POV[=]=[=]=[=]=[=]=[=]=[=]


My head felt like a foggy bowl of pea soup was inside of it. My limbs felt heavy and I swear something was shocking the hell out of me or at least I felt tingles all over.

My heavy eye kids slowly opened and when they did I noticed one thing right off the bat. I was not in my room. The second thing I noticed was I was not a lone in bed and the third thing I noticed was it was really early in the morning like three something in the morning.

"Call, Call, Call wake up." I whisper yelled. I had to pee and Callum wouldn't let go.

"Baby are you okay, are you in pain. Do I need to call Layla?" Callum shot up out off bed releasing me.

"I have to pee, I'm not in pain yet and no let her sleep." I said attempting to get up so I could pee.

"Here let me help." he said helping me sit up. I made my way to the bathroom and relieved myself. my tummy was achy but I didn't know if it was because of the fact that I was hungry or if it was because I held my pee for so long but I don't think it was because of the babies.

"Call, is there any left over left from what ever you had for dinner?" I asked coming out of the bathroom to find him sitting there with a bowl of what smelled like my momma's homemade chicken soup.

"Here baby, your momma and my momma will be staying with us until Layla thinks you'll be okay so they made dinner for everyone here." He said as I devoured my soup. It made me my cranky tummy and the babies happy to eat.

"This is so good. Is there more?" I asked emptying the big bowl.

"Yeah it's warming in the stove. Here let me go get you some more. Is there anything else I can get for you?" He asked.

"Please, oh and a bottle of water or glass of milk also please." I said blushing.

"Be right back baby." he said kissing my forehead and taking the empty bowl. I sighed a happy content sigh.

"Please give me a couple more days babies. Papa is not wanting to share you just yet. I need you with me so I know your safe, healthy and I just like having you so close." I whispered to my belly.

"I wish it was as simple as that too. I feel better knowing they are in you safe from most things in this world." Callum said coming in the room with a tray of my food.

"How long does Layla give it?" I asked afraid to hear the answer.

"She giving it a couple days. She's hoping the meds will work and with you being on bed rest it should help." He said handing me my bowl.

"Thank you." I said taking a spoonful and blowing on it.

"I'm going to go put stuff away is there anything else you want?" he asked.

"No I think I'm good. I may have to go pee again when I'm done. I think one of the babies is laying in my bladder." I said feeling my cheeks turn red.

"Okay, I'll be right back and I'll help you with that." He said smirking.

I slurped down my soup and felt just right not to full yet not hungry. I sipped my milk not really wanting to have to pee a hundred more time before morning.

"All done?" he asked coming back in the room.

"Yes thank you very much." I said as I attempted to get up so I could pee again.

"Hold on babe, let me set this down." He said hurrying to set the tray downs so he could help me up. I hated to be so needy all the time. And my gut tells me that this isn't going to end once I'm not an elephant.

"I'm just sitting. I'll wait cuz I don't think I can do it on my own anymore even if I tried." I said chuckling.

He ran with the tray down the hall to the kitchen and hurried back. I giggled as I heard him cuss after hearing a thump midway back. He came in all red faced and had a slight limp.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah fine, couldn't be better now lets get you to the bathroom an back to bed. It's going in five and our moms will be up at the crack ass if dawn wanting to see you." He said lifting me effortlessly. So sexy so yummy I so wanted to really feel the muscles that were protruding into my side from his arms and chest.

"Thank you so much." I said kissing his cheek as he placed me on the floor on my feet.

"You're welcome baby." he said smiling like a idiot. My idiot. My wolf almost growled at that. He sometimes gets a little jealous of the human side of me. He wants to run with his mate he wants to play with his mate. I wish I could go all wolf and let him do that stuff but our pups are more important.

"I'm sleepy now." I said yawning.

"I'm glad now that Layla gave you that medicine you needed the rest. I promise tomorrow will be just as restful but you'll be awake for it." He said laying me down. I love how he carried me so effortlessly and wasn't breathing hard when he laid me down.

"I'm going get bored out of my mind." I said sighing and turning on my side.

"I will do my best to keep you entertained." He said laying behind me. I was having mixed feelings about him and I sharing a bed but I was in his bed so who am I to ask him to leave. I did the opposite and snuggled closer.

Sleep came quick and so did the morning. Callum was right when he said our mothers would be eager to see me. They woke us up about an hour and a half later with food.

"You guys know he woke up in the middle of the night and are right?" Callum asked as he helped me sit up so I could eat my yummy biscuits and gravy.

"I thought I heard someone up around four or so." Luna Tillee said trying to hide her smirk.

"It's fine I'm hungry." I said happily eating.

"Any pain, baby boy?" momma asked.

"Nope. I feel fine unless I'm moving around a lot." I said sipping my milk.

"Layla said she would be over around noon so if you want to nap before she comes you can." momma said.

"If like to shower and change my clothes before she gets here." I said crinkling my nose.

"I wasn't going to say anything but since you did, I think that, that would be a great idea." Momma said making me blush.

"You smell great to me babe." Callum whispered in my ear. Making me blush even more.

"I can't help that I am Shamu and smell like it to momma." I said giggling.

"Baby boy you are beautifully pregnant. I have always thought that pregnant people have a glow to them that is so beautiful." Momma said kissing my forehead.

"Do you two plan on having any more?" Luna Tillee asked.

"Mom." Callum whispered yelled.

"What?" she asked.

"I'm not sure if we can. its something I was going to talk to Layla about. I wouldn't mind having more in the future but in the distant future and even if I can't have them I would love to adopt." I said squeezing Callum's hand. He smiled.

"I'm so proud of you." momma said hugging me and rubbing my belly.

"I have to pee." I said having one of those got to go now urges.

"Ryder that was rude." Momma said.

"It's either tell you or pee on you take your pick because I was just kick in my bladder and have to go." I almost yelled. I was swiftly life's and carried to the bathroom where I hurried and relieved myself. I was a little crampy but hoped it would go away. I didn't want to say anything and have me family go nuts over a fart bubble.

"I can feel it but it don't seem as bad today." Callum said coming in to help me pull up my sweats. This was so embarrassing.

"No just cramping a little don't tell the mom's, they will wig an have me strapped down in bed peeing in some cup or something." I said chuckling.

"Okay but if they get any worse we tell them and Layla." he said kissing my forehead as I sat on the bed.

"Okay." I said yawning.

"Take a nap I have something's to take care of and I will be back for your bath in about two hours. That should give you time to rest and me time to finish moving some of my stuff here. I'm just setting it in the garage for now." he said helping me lay do. He hooked me back up to the heart beat machine and turned off the light before kissing me good night.

"See you in a couple hours." I said yawning. As soon as he was out the door my wolf was whining and whimpering. No sleep for me if he keeps this shit up.

"You know he said he was coming back. We don't need to be around home 24/7." I said to my wolf.

"You may not need to but I do. I can't be around him in my form so being around him through you is all I have." My wolf cried.

"Well you will have to wait. Our pups come first an I better not find out you are making them come early." I snapped.

"I would never harm our pups." he said in shock that I even accused him of such a thing.

"I'm glad we both at least agree that our pups come first." I said as the first wave of pain hit. Not as hard as yesterday but still strong enough to take my breath away. I decided to lay there without moving allowing the beat of their hearts to calm me. I slowly drifted off into darkness.
