Chapter 17

Ryder's POV<><><><><><><><><>


So somehow Ami got invited to dinner. I don't know how or who did it but I was a little upset. Her and Callum were all chatty and laughing. I hated how she would laugh at everything he said. But what pissed me off was the comment about the kids. She was so sweet and giggly with Ky and Kyle but she sort of stubbed Kylee. She said she hope she didn't have any girls that looked like her. And that made Callum be all your pretty and any guy would be lucky to have her as his mate and her daughters would be twice as beautiful. I was sick to my stomach.

"Could you pass the corn?" Ami asked me.

"Sure, hon." I said faking a smile.

"Call remember when we was first dating and we went to that one restaurant and that old couple said we reminded them of themselves when they was first mated?" she said spooning corn on her plate.

"Yeah I remember." Callum said laughing.

"So where did you two go for your first date?" she asked.

"I'm taking him to some really special places on Friday." Call said. So he had our date night planned.

"Oh that's right you guys kind of did this all backwards. I guess that's how mets do it." she said making my mom cough and Luna Tillee choke on her drink.

"Yep, we wanted to get the whole having kids out of the way you know." I said chuckling making my dad smile.

"I bet you was huge carrying three babies. And a sight to see. A guy pregnant." She said giggling.

"I was. You'll have to come around when we get pregnant again." I said smiling. She frowned and rolled her eyes. Alpha Glenn saw it this time and I smirked.

"Callum come help me with the cup cakes." Luna Tillee said.

"Sure mom." Call said.

"So Ami have you found your mate yet?" my mom asked.

"No but I feel he is close. I'm am going to a mixer next week that's why I needed to talk with Callum. I need him to keep Trix for me. It's his month coming up anyways." She said.

"Who's Trix?" I asked.

"Our cat." she said smiling.

"Oh I love cats" I said smiling. I secretly hated cats my mom knew that and so did my dad but both had smiles that said otherwise.

"Oh you do that's good because Trix is Callum's baby. He saved her one night from being killed by a rouge." She said sticky sweet.

"Ami could you go help my mom?" Callum asked.

"Sure." she said getting up.

"Babe can I talk to you in the other room, please?" Callum asked.

"Sure." both Ami and I said.

"Ryder." Callum said.

"Oh yeah sorry old habits." Ami said smiling.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't even see what she was doing. I'm so stupid. I guess I just wanted to keep her close. She was a great friend." He said begging me.

"The fact that you didn't see it bothers me. But the fact that someone asked her to stay for dinner without asking me. I've had it with her. she is not welcome here again." I snapped before leaving him standing there so I could go back to eat.

I felt him follow me and I knew he was upset but so was I and I wasn't forgiving him right now. I think I was more pissed at who ever asked her to stay. I mean she has been rude the whole time she has been here.

"Sorry about that." I said smiling.

"It's okay hon, you didn't miss much." My mom said smiling at me.

"Here we are with the cup cakes." Luna Tillee said coming in with a tray and a pissed off looking Ami.

"I'm sorry everyone but I must be getting. Thank you so much for dinner. Callum can you walk me out?" she asked.

"Sorry maybe momma can, I'm busy." he said handing out cup cakes to everyone.

"That's okay, I'll see you tomorrow when you come to get Trix." she said smiling.

"I'm picking him up around noon." Alpha Glenn said smiling back at her. Her smile fell and her face paled.

"Yes sir, I'll see you then." she said recovering.

"Good bye." I said smiling.

"See you later, Ryder." She said making a chill run down my spine and not a happy chill.

"Looking forward to it." I said still smiling.

"I don't like the sound of that." momma said.

"It did sound like more of a threat and a promise more then it did sound friendly." Luna Tillee said.

"She better hope not." Callum said growling I rolled my eyes.

"I would just like to say she isn't welcome back here." I said getting up and clearing my plates.

"Who invited her to stay for dinner?" my momma asked.

"I did." Alpha Glenn said.

"Why?" Dad asked.

"I thought thy were all getting along." he said.

"I think both you and your son are dense." Luna Tillee said making me and my wolf chuckle.

"I can't believe her. She has never once acted like this. She encouraged me to go after Ryder once she found out what happened. Now she is acting like some woman scorn." Callum said with discuss dripping from his words.

"I'm sorry, I'm the one that thought this would have been a good idea. I know how much your friendship was with Ami and I thought if they got along you could show him that you chose him over her but could still be around her because you had no feeling for her. I didn't think she would pull this. She was always so sweet." Luna Tillee said almost in tears. I felt bad.

"Mom I should have known that this was a bad idea. And I don't know where the hell my head was when she was being so fucking rude. Sorry about the language. I'm so mad at myself." Callum said making me feel a little bad for him. I finish making bottles and headed toward where the babies were sleeping.

"Hey babies. Daddy brought you something." I sang as I walked in to their room. I heard some cooing coming from their bed the were sharing. I almost had to put them in their own beds.

"Hey monkeys. Where is Kylee? Callum." I screamed. I could only smell us, Ami and our families.

"What baby are you okay?" he asked running in.

"Kylee is missing." I said tears rolling down my face.

"What do you mean Kylee is missing." His wolf asked.

"I can't find her." I said my wolf whimpered.

"Dad!" Callum yelled making everyone come running. I was sick and held on tight to my boys. They whimpered as I cried for their sister.

I heard voices around me and I remember growling when someone tried to take my boys. I felt a pinch and that when my world went black.

Callum's POV. £££££££££££££££££


"Find my pup." my wolf yelled causing everyone to cower around me.

"Son, we need you to let your wolf take over." I barely heard my dad say.

I shifted though and soon was in the trail of Kylee and Ami. Why? Why would that bitch do this?

"I want Ami found, Kylee taken to her daddy and Ami taken to the jail to await kidnapping charges. For kidnapping the Alpha's daughter." my wolf said to all warriors and trackers.

"Yes, Alpha." they all said.

"I found something." Jesse yelled coming from out of the woods behind the house.

"What did you find?" I asked turning to trot over to him.

"I found Kylee's scent. It's mixed with rouge." He said frowning.

"What about Ami's scent?" I demanded.

"It's there." Jesse growled.

"Jesse will show you where he found the scent and follow it. No harm comes to my daughter. And keep Ami and her rouge alive. I want to take care of them." I yelled.

We took off running. Jesse was right he did find my baby girls scent. I let my wolf completely take over. We ran until we came to where the rouges where held up. Ami's scent was heading straight for one of the tents.

If it wasn't for my dad I would have charged right in there after my daughter.

"Ashlynn is trying to narrow down where Kylee is. She has only meant Ami once and it was a couple years ago. She said she had to clue this was going to happen." My dad said.

"She better hope she didn't know anything about this." I yelled.

"I trust her." dad snapped.

"Hush, I think I hear Kylee crying." Jesse said.

We all stayed quiet and sure enough I heard her. It was her hungry cry. She was hungry and her daddy had her bottle at home for her.

"Ashlynn found her but she is guarded. She said there is 5 guards, Ami and the head rouge are all in the same tent." My dad said.

"So seven people and my daughter. Easy." I said.

"Callum this isn't the time to let your wolf out. We need to do this smart. Ashlynn is seeing if there is a way to get to this rent undetected." Dad said.

There was at least seventy of us and by the looks of them maybe forty. We only had half our people here for this while the rest protect home and our families.

"We could take them." I said.

"And risk getting Rylee hurt. No." Allen said.

"I just want her home before Ryder wakes." I said.

"Ryder isn't waking for awhile." Jesse said.

"He is going to hate me. I have failed him yet again." I said as I heard Kylee's cries stop. That scares me.

"She is being moved. They think something is wrong with her." dad said.

"Make sure Ashlynn stays with her." I demanded.

"She is." Dad said scooting closer to a tree so he could see better.

"Alpha we have in coming. Three to the west and two to the right. Do you want us to take them out?" one of the guards asked.

"Capture, contain and wait for further." I said.

"Yes, sir." they said.

I watched as someone exited the tent with a whimpering Kylee. They took her to a tent closer to us and left her there. I heard her start to cry again this time louder. A lady walked close to the tent but I couldn't tell who it was.

"They left her alone in the tent. Ashlynn thinks its a trap. She is going to send a young kid in to see." dad said.

"Sure sacrifice a child." One of the guards said.

"She wouldn't let harm come to a child. She thinks they are watching to see if anyone shows up." my dad said.

We watched as a kid went in and someone stomped out of the other tent to stop them. The kid got yelled at and set off. Ashlynn waited for the guy to turn around before she snuck into the tent with Kylee.

"What the hell is she doing?" I asked.

"Making sure she's safe." Dad said.

"We attack in three minutes." he to everyone else.

I readied myself for what was to come. I was going after the main guy and Ami. Jesse would make sure Kylee made it home to her daddy.

"Jess, get Kylee and get her home to Ry I'll be there as soon as I can." I said doing a belly crawl closer to the tent that had my targets in.

"You got it." Jesse said getting closer to Kylee.

"Thirty seconds." my dad said and everyone was waiting for the word. Not a sound could be heard.

We all charged and the battle began.
