*4 months later*
I sat on the window ledge and stared out wishing that I could feel the grass under my bare feet and the fresh air in my lungs when I was ripped from my thoughts.
"Kat? Are you ready to share? " My group therapist asks.
"Umm I guess.., my name is Katrina I'm 15 and I'm here for self harm, an eating disorder, depression, and trying to commit suicide..."
"Thank you for sharing." She said before two guards came and drug me back to my room and strapped me to my bed. "The doctor will be in to see you before REC, and he or
She will watch you change into your REC cloths." One of the guards mumbles before closing my door and locking it.
I sat there strapped to the bed waiting for the doctor to come in and force more pills down my throat, and if it's Dr. Garrison then he better hope that I don't bite again.
"Kat? Are you okay? " Ms Kelly said undoing my restraints.
"Yeah, I was just thinking." I smiled
"Do you want to share?" She asked softly
"I-I was just wondering who I was going to get today. I really glad that it's you, you're one of the nice ones." I smiled
"Well I'm happy to hear that, but you know I still have to do my job right? So that means I can't leave until you take your meds and you tell me how you're feeling." She said holding out 6 multi colored pills.
I weakly smiled and took the pills and opened my mouth.
"Thank you for making my job a little easier." She said writing down some notes. "So you finally spoke in group, why the change of heart?"
"Why not, I mean I wanna get out of here so I might as well... and before you ask no I don't feel suicidal today and my depression is at a 6/10 and anxiety is pretty low today 8/10 in group and 3-4/10 the rest of the day." I say quietly.
"That's good you're making progress." She said handing me a clean black sports bra and undies and white T-shirt and shorts.
I sighed and took off my white scrubs and old under garments. I stood in front of Ms Kelly and she pinched the skin on my stomach, arms and thighs. "Hmm, you don't seem to have gained any weight since I last saw you, I think we need go change your diet again and you'll have REC twice a week not everyday." She said jotting down some more notes before giving me the okay to get dressed.
