'This cannot be happening! I need to go back! Now! But, how?!'

This thought was the only thing that Rapunzel Corona could think about all dawn. Memory about what happened between her and Jack last night was still fresh in her mind. The feeling when they were so close, the way Jack's blue eyes locked into her own eyes, the way when he pulled her closer softly...

'Noo! Get a grip, Rapunzel! Ugh!'

The blonde was practically walked back and front in the room, thinking a single way to go home. Her real home.

" There must be a way... there's got to be a way! "

She mumbled to herself. She continued thinking until she let her body fell into the bed. Apparently no single clue was found to solve her problem. She sighed. There was no way she could see Jack freely now without feeling embarrass or comfortable. She knew she shouldn't have felt like that. Getting embarrass to someone, moreover another boy who clearly wasn't her fiancée, Eugene.

Eugene...

Rapunzel wondered what he was doing now. Did he worried sick about her disappearance? Did he lead a search army to to find her? What about her parents? Did they shed their tears again because of her? Did they flown those lanterns in hope she come back again? Her father... Mother..

Mother!

" Of course.. "

Of course! Her mother Gothel could help her! Even if she couldn't help her get home, she could help Rapunzel stay away from Jack for awhile. Ouch.. that sounded so harsh. But that was the truth. The blonde beauty needed a time alone to think about what she should do for the future and she was sure she doesn't need the white haired man's presence, or so she thought.

Almost too soon she got up from the bed and about to walk to the door when a knock was heard from the said door.

" Rapunzel? You awake? "

Her heart skipped for a second when she recognized that voice. Goodness, she didn't expect she would meet him so soon. Well, of course she would eventually face to face with him sooner or later considering this was his house, but she didn't thought it was now.

" U,umm.. Yes, I've awoke... " she answered slowly.

" Right, there's your mother downstairs waiting for you. If she ask where I am, I'm in the shower. " He said through the door. She couldn't help but to noticed how hoarse he sounded.

Why?

But she soon dismissed the thought as she recalled that her mother was waiting for her. Such a coincidence, she was just thinking about her not long ago.

" O, okay.. thanks... " Rapunzel didn't know whether Jack was still there or not, but a sound of his footsteps answered her unvoiced question. Slowly she braced herself to open the door. After peeking around for any sign of Jack, she slowly tip-toed to meet her mother.

"Flower, there you are! " Gothel exclaimed as she spotted the blonde girl. Rapunzel couldn't help but winched as she heard her nickname. Somehow it reminded her about the dark memories. Shrugging off her thought, Rapunzel walked toward her mother who immediately attacked her with a hug.

"Ah, my darling, it is always makes me happy to see you. I could instantly feel the warmth from you. " Gothel cooed as she stroked her daughter's hair lovingly.

Caught off guard with the sudden affection that her mother showed, Rapunzel felt a little bit nervous and deep down a little bit happy.

"S,so do I, mother.. " Gothel pulled away from the hug and looked at her daughter worriedly.
