Sofie's POV:

Putting my key into the lock of mine and my twin brother's apartment I turned it to open up the door, but only to find Sven sat on his ass on the sofa. His Xbox controller in his hands, as well as headphones on his head. And so that was when it became knowledge to me, he was playing what I can imagine to be Call of Duty with some friends. Causing me to roll my eyes.

"Do you not have anything better to do than sit on your ass playing on the Xbox all day?" As I uttered those words once putting my keys down, I looked towards my brother, frustrated.

That was when he turned to look at me for a split second, sighing. "It's my day off Sofie, so I can do whatever the hell I want." He shrugged, focusing back on his game once again then.

Breathing out in frustration from his oh so lazy behaviour I slipped my shoes off, walking to him and standing in front of the TV. Much to his annoyance though, as all I heard come out of Sven's mouth for a moment was moans and groans. "Oh cut it out will you?" Resting my hand on my hip, I went on. "You could have at least done something more productive no?"

Trying to look at the TV from where I was stood, Sven huffed. "For your information I have done something other than stay home today, I went out and got some food for us actually."

"Really?" Raising my eyebrow in almost shock as Sven is usually too lazy to do anything like it, he simply nodded his head, proud so it seemed. So with that I moved out of his view so I could go into the kitchen, seeing what food he had bought us. But as I did so and opened a couple of the cupboards, I immediately shook my head. All there was inside was nothing at all other than canned and microwavable food, unhealthy food. "You have to be kidding me."

Speaking in a loud and annoyed tone of voice, I sighed. "What is it now?" I heard Sven sigh.

"When you go food shopping you're supposed to buy proper food Sven." I uttered, walking to him with microwave meals in my hand. "Not this shit, and not processed food you idiot!"

"Oh cut me some slack will you?" He sighed. "I went shopping, which is more than you did."

"Well I actually buy real food when I go shopping, not this unhealthy crap." Sighing heavily I walked back to the kitchen and threw the food back into the fridge again, shaking my head, and taking an apple to eat. Biting into it I walked back over, sitting beside Sven on the sofa.

"How was work anyway?" Somewhat calming down from our little argument then, Sven all of a sudden paused his game and looked at me. Taking a sip of his coke on the table then.

That moment there was the second which I smiled widely, showing to him just from all the simplest of looks that I had a good day. And of course, that only caused a look of suspicion to form across my brother's face. "Well let's just say, I had an amazing day at work today."

"Well..." He laughed. "Are you going to tell me what happened?"

I laughed at his words, wanting to tease him a little as I know how impatient my brother can get at times. "Oh I don't know...what makes me want to tell you, I mean do you deserve it?"

"Oh come on sis." Laughing, he nudged me. "You can't do that to me. Please..."

"Ok, ok, I'll tell you." I giggled, seeing how much this was getting to him. "Well let's just say I was offered quite a good job today. Designing an app for a footballer over in Germany."

Sven widened his eyes wide at me in response to what I had just said, a big smile and such a look of proudness upon him. As much as I do not get along with my brother at times, he still does also show that proud look when I tell him. "Oh Sofie, well done!" He mused, wrapping both of his arms around me for a hug, which I reciprocated. "But who offered you the job?"
