Sofie's POV:
"Well it's been a lovely evening meeting you Sofie, but I really should get going now." Marco announced, standing up and slinging his jacket over his shoulder. "I imagine you know what it's like, busy schedules and all." He chuckled, fixing his suit once he was stood up straight.
"Leaving so early?" I narrowed my eyes, almost challenging him. "Why would we come to a place like this, a casino, and not even bother to go inside eh?" From the look which all four of the guys gave me, it was clear that they didn't quite expect that to escape my lips. "What, just because I'm a girl I can't enjoy a bit of gambling? Is that what you're all thinking, huh?"
"Oh no...no..." Marcel played it down as he stood up beside his friend, Robin joining beside.
"No we weren't thinking that at all." Smiling at me as he spoke, Marco leant with his hands on the chair in front him. "I just have so much to do tonight, plus training in the morning."
I rolled my eyes at his excuse, playfully, and crossed my arms against my chest. "Oh, don't you worry. I get it, I get it." I smirked, pointing at the three guys while Sascha was sat just a small way away from me. "You're all scared that you're going to get beaten by a girl, right?"
"Pfft, you wish." Robin added in amusingly. "The truth is, we just don't want to put you to shame." The German winked. "You know, not now you've signed the contract and all that."
"Oh please." I chuckled sarcastically, leaning back slightly. "If wipe the floor with you all."
At this point I watched Marco avert his eyes over his two friends either side of him. "Do you really believe that?" He questioned, to which I nodded my head rather confidently in answer to him. "Well fine then." He smirked. "I guess we can stay for a couple of hours, but I doubt I will see any winning mentality from you." He was challenging me, I could sense it off of him.
"Ok then." I flicked my tongue to the roof of my mouth. "How about we bet on it then?"
"Bet on what?" He seemed confused.
"That I will actually win, and that I'll be a damn sight better than any of you." I could see off the looks from the three men that they were taking back from the confidence within me, to the point that they all had their eyebrows raised. "So...do we have a deal on this one then?"
"Ok fine, deal." Marcel eventually responded for the three of them, reaching over to shake on it, which I did instantly. "We'll come out the real winners in this though, I can just feel it."
"Pfft, you keep believing that, amateur." I smirked, turning my attention to that of Sascha as he seemed rather quiet surprisingly, in compare to the rest of the night previously. "Will you join us then Sascha?" I questioned the older man, with a small smile upon my painted lips.
"Oh me?" He asked, pointing to himself, as I nodded my head. "Oh no, no I won't be coming I don't think." Shaking his head at me, I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed inside due to it. But by no means did I show it. "I have some paperwork to go over tonight, but we can do it another night? Besides, there'll be plenty of opportunities over the next few months."
"Yes good point, maybe something a little earlier than half past nine for the old man though yes?" I mocked. And if I knew Sascha well, which of course I did, then if we were alone and I would have said that then you can bet I would've got a hard slap right across my ass from it.
"Oh yes that's it mock the older guy." He laughed raising his hands up. "But don't you forget I'm the heart and soul of this business deal between you two." He eyed Marco and myself.
