Wait. Pause. What the hell just happened? I'm supposed to be alone. In the woods. No one.....

GRRRR- I mean......ahem, let's see. Who does this stranger thinks he is to murder my beautiful, red apples!!

Back to me nearly being stabbed to death by an arrow...

" AHHHHH! " I screamed in horror and first thing I did out of my shock was cover my entire face with my hood..

I was so frightened. Dead scared. I felt like I shouldn't breathe anymore or else the stranger might hear me and just shoot me with his arrow.

Never in my life have I been so horrified...

The life I've lived since I was brought here was peaceful and excitingly simple.

Being alone was lonely, yes, but I've gotten quite used to it, and soon I loved it. No one to bother me while sleeping under a tree. No one to pick all the apples at once. No one to disturb the peaceful sound and feeling of nature. And no one...to ever know who I am or what I am...

That's why at that very scene, I was vulnerable to everything around me, a stranger, someone I've never met, set foot on somewhere, that is supposed to be...a secret

I wanted to scream. Shout. Show him what a monster I am and hopefully, he'll run away but...

My body won't let me. It had me trapped in the deepest of my fears and suddenly...

My mind became...numb. It lost all it's memory and had only one thing in mind; Run or you're dead.

I was trying to breathe as soft as possible and my heart beat went to a full 808. I heard no sound behind me until...

I heard a " CLACK!! * " then a "SWISH!! * " . Then at that very moment, I swear I could hear footsteps coming closer behind me...

I didn't know what to think or do, because I knew that if I made a run, if that stranger had nearly stabbed my hand off, then he definitely could shoot my head off in seconds...

So, I stood there, hoping the horrifying person will just leave me be

My ears twitched, as footsteps got even louder, but slower.

I was waiting for that very moment to hear a gun or a trigger pull or some axe

Closing my eyes, I was ready for impact. I was ready to die. Ready to leave this place... ready to surrender....

While imagining how my death would look like, my train of thought was interrupted

* ahem * I heard someone clearing his throat and obviously it was a boy..

Just then, I felt a slight tap on my shoulder, and before I knew it.....

I was facing a tall, dark, boy who also worn a green hood.

I quickly looked at the snow, holding my hood down to keep my face from being seen, trying to avoid eye contact

I felt his eyes on me, so I was hesitant to talk. My lips were frozen as ice and my throat became dry, as my ears tingled again, as I heard the mysterious archer boy's voice...

" Umm, excuse me, miss, I'm sorry to frighten you like that but it's just... "

I looked up at him glaring all of a sudden, my heart and mind filled with rage and confusion; I was desperate to know why in the land would he shoot me or at least " accidentally " try to kill me while reaching for my apple

I saw his expression as I glared up, his eyes slightly widened and taken aback.

" ....you were about to eat a rotten apple which could have worms in it "
He slightly looked at me flustered and scratched his head
