I had the worst wolf nap in my life, all the tossing and turning, worrying and doubting.
Obviously, I didn't trust Chris with my secret, neither did I believe he was so calm about it
Clenching my jaw, I jumped out of bed and made myself some apple salad, since my stomach was practically grumbling
Yes. I do have fangs, but unfortunately, I don't use them to tear red meat...
I am a vegetarian wolf, who's love for apples are wider than the hearing span of my ears. I eat what bears and cow eat. Fish and veggies.
Anyways
After a long satisfying breakfast, I decided to go out and have some real fun...
I went out without my basket, got my hood and and set out to the mountains
I didn't use my usual way going to the mountains anymore
Skipping and hopping on rocks, I crossed a small, quite shallow river
Some water splashed on me, it was cold but not the icy kind of cold
The wind was in a moderate speed
The sky, boy was it blue as the berries. The clouds were as clear as the white of my teeth
The best idea I've ever had
It was the perfect day to go mountain hiking
" Arghhh owwww! " My giant, pointed, wolf ears got caught in one of the branches " Stupid ears " I struggled and got my ears out, hoping it didn't get wounded
" Being a wolf does has it's downs " I mumbled to myself as I continued climbing
As a wolf, you have many ups. You get to have speed and strength, that no human could get. You'd have the power to hear beyond what humans can hear [ meaning far sounds and spirits; a living ghost detector ]. Your nails may look normal, but it's 50 times sharper than human nails, and my favorite part. Nocturnal eyes.I could walk my way through the woods, on the darkest of nights, without even having to light but a match.
Well, of course, all those things, still amaze me but, it also has things that don't
Suddenly, I saw multiple vines hanging from the trees, which gave me another idea...
" Wooooohooooooo!!! " I screamed in excitement and swang on one of the vines, then to another
Swinging from vine to vine, I saw a little nest where little birds were, and the mother and...
I saw a big black raven trying to raid their little nest.
My blood boiled while watching the helpless scene, so...
I did what any big, bad wolf would do. I ate the raven.
Hah I'm kidding! Of course I wouldn't do that, that's disgusting ughhh
I'm a good little wolf of course so...
I swang towards the raven and swooped my claws and grabbed the raven, dropping it, as it flew far far away from the nest
" Aha! That's to teach you not to mess with my animals friends! "
Finally, I got kind of bored and let go of the vine, hopping on to the tree, continuing on to my destination
As I reached the top, I took a rest on top of the trees and removed my hood, therefore, revealing my wolf ears and tail. I rarely took off my hood but, now that I know, someone here in this land knows my secret, it's safe to say, I can walk around without anyone having to scream in my ears by the sight of me
