Okay, so that wasn’t awkward at all.

Oh my God who was she kidding? That was the most fatal thing she had to face in like forever. What could be more worse than your crush thinking you already have a boyfriend. I mean so what he wasn’t exactly interested in her. Okay NOT AT ALL interested in her. But still you have to put up a sign saying ‘Single’, so even if he ever have feeling for you in future it might not be complicating at that time, whenever that is.

Harry however handled the situation like a gentleman; Callie couldn’t get a hint of what was going through his mind.

“That’s… Amazing,” Harry continued and turned to Callie with a genuine smile, “How come you never told me about his?”

Callie really didn’t have an opinion on why she didn’t tell him about Steven. It wasn’t like she only got to know about it an hour ago or something. She just smiled at him and tries to think hard. Come on you cando this Callie;you can come up with something to say. Everyone was looking at her awkwardly now, just waiting for a reply. ANYTHING TO SAY.

“I was…,” what? I was what Callie, “going to tell you yesterday but… um… you bailed on me.” Wow, Callie was actually proud of herself for that, now that was comeback. Everyone exchanged awkward glances with eachother. She looked up at Harry and he really looked guilty. Well he must be it wasn’t really a nice thing to do mister. Callie exchanged glances with Tasha who gave her thumbs up.

“I can explain,” Harry started, “really I…” his faced looked rather flushed like he really was sorry for what happened. Callie was already feeling sorry for snapping him, but she had to be strong. She just can’t let cute faces destroy her anymore. Harry was wrong and that’s what matters the most. Callie wasn’t looking forward for Harry to finish his sentence. It could be a really good reason and would ruin her whole confidence. Nope that wasn’t happening. Not right now.

“You know what, it’s okay,” She started speaking in full speed before Harry could say something else, “I bet you really were busy, it’s not like you went golfing with a band mate or something.” Callie said and looked at him with a hell-yeah-I-read-what-you-and-Niall-did-yesterday expression.

HAH take that mister, thank god Callie had time to take a quick glance at Sugerscape and get updated on what his crush is doing. Oh boy was Harry going down today.

Harry was in totally taken aback but still managed to smile and look hot. That topic was closed then and there. Callie felt a little ping of sadness but she wasn’t going to let this ruin her confidence. She turned to the nearest rack and picked up a neon dress as a joke

“What do you think of this dress Steven?” She asked, “I know it’s your favourite colour,” She looked at him and smiled. “Or this black one, its kind of classy now, isn’t it. Which one do you think I should try on?” She put those dresses close to her as if showing him how she’d look in them, when she looked up at Steven again, his expression was that of a rock. He clearly didn’t see the difference in both of these dresses. He had no idea which would look better.

“Um…,” He looked back and forth between each of the dress,

“The neon one of course,” Steven said.

“The black one would look great on you,” Harry spoke at the same time. They both exchanged glances and smiled.

Callie shot her hands in the air giving a little laugh at Steven’s answer, but Steven’s expression didn’t change. Oh god he really did mean the neon one. Except Callie and Harry no one was really paying attention in the conversation anymore, they had to buy some clothes for themselves too. Steven expression was the same he didn’t see why he was so wrong.

Callie was totally alarmed at his response. Harry also shot him a frightened look. How on earth could he say neon? I mean it was the ugliest thing she had ever seen.

“Okay then I think I’ll try the neon one first,” She managed to reply out of her shock, plus she really didn’t wanted Harry to be satisfied at his choice. Today she was not gonna listen to him.

In the trial room it didn’t take long for Callie to put on that black dress. Harry was actually right. She did look kind of fetching in it. She didn’t even bother to try the neon one on. She kind of hated it that Harry was correct. Why does he have to be so smart all the time?

But the real problem right now was how could she take the black one outside without Harry noticing it? And if she took it outside and didn’t buy the neon one it would make Harry a clear winner, and he would think he knows better than her fake-boyfriend. She debated a little and then snuck out of the trial room with total silence. Thank God Steven was busy checking out some shirt for himself. She traced the area for Harry but couldn’t find him. Argh now that’s scarier he could be anywhere. She carefully started towards the cash counter totally in command, with the black dress clinched to her chest. She looked around the area once more but there was no trace of Harry. She felt a little bad, what if he left? What if he was really embarrassed and don’t want to talk to her anymore. She was looking down with intense look on her face; she gave the dress to the cashier, totally lost in thought.

“I told you the black were your perfect match,” Harry’s voice came from beside her. Callie was totally taken aback. When did he come here? How? Was he here all along?

“I just didn’t like the neon one,” Callie managed to summon up some words and tried to sound a little rude, but GOD that face.

“You’re still mad at me?” Harry said in the calmest voice. OH GOD why does he have to be so hot when he is being nice.

“Still?” Callie asked they were now face to face; he had one hand on the counter and had turned 90 degree to look at her. He could notice the hurt in her eyes “Is that even a question Harry?” She said in a surrendered voice, “I’m hurt.” She looked him directly in the eyes, and could see that he was too. They stood there like that for about a while and then Callie looked down and walked away. She didn’t wait for him to call and neither did he.

She went and stood there with Steven, Tasha and Spencer. She looked back to see what Harry was doing, of course she couldn’t control herself. He was coming towards them all.

“Okay guys so I better leave, my mates would be waiting for me,” Harry gave them his famous heart-warming smile. Everyone said there farewells. Spencer held a little longer as usual. Then he turned to Callie.

“Okay then I’ll see you around,” Harry said with an awkwardly beaming smile. Of course things weren't the same right now.

Just when Callie was about to say goodbye and Harry was going to be off for good. Louis comes up from behind jumping around with a demin in his hand.

“Hello there fellas, How you doing?” He emphasised on the last word as usual and in joined with his ever so joyful nature.

“OMG I love you,” Spencer exclaimed without second thoughts. Oh my god my sister is a slut, Callie thought. Everyone threw funny looks at her.

“Oh and so does my girlfriend,” Louis added and Spencer was then taken aback. She was now finally silenced for good, before she could ht on another band member.

“Oh hello there Callie, haven’t seen you since that party,” He said and winked at Harry with a You-know-what-I-mean grin. Callie was slowly turning red. She looked down and blushed. Thoughts of that night were coming back to her mind, and she couldn’t battle them out. Harry expression however didn’t change much. It was still a mix to happiness and something else. Callie couldn’t quite put a finger on it.

“Well if you guys aren’t so busy, you should join us for lunch,” Louis said and everyone’s excitement level went up. They looked at eachother with bright eyes. Oh my god even Steven was excited. Everyone was chipping in. Callie looked at Louis and managed a smile. Oh no, this was not happening; she can’t stay with Harry for so long. NO NO NO. She knew exactly what would happen if she stayed near him any longer. She can’t control herself all afternoon. She is of course gonna give up at a stage and just forgive him.

“Of course that’s a…great idea,” Callie plastered a fake smile on her face and said awkwardly.

IT WAS GOING TO A DISASTER, she thought.
