Part 24: Dress Shopping and Hang out

"Hey mom?" I asked walking into the living room.

"Yes sweety?"

"I was wondering if we could go dress shopping today since prom is coming up soon. Please?"

"I guess. First let me get dressed and eat. Then we can go." She said and I smiled happily.

"Ok. Thanks mom." I said and ran back upstairs to do my make up. After about an hour or so my mom was finally ready to go.

We got into my jeep and I drove off down the driveway. "Where are we going?" my mom asked.

"I was thinking that one shop in the mall and if that is a bust we could go to Kohl's or something like that. I that ok with you?"

"Yes. So mall first then, I'm guessing?"

"Yes. We have to get Starbucks too."

"Of course. You teens and your Starbucks."

"That's us mom." We got to the mall after we stopped at Starbucks.

After we got to the store I tryed on more that 3 dresses and still couldn't find what I was looking for.

"Sweety, what are you look for even?" my mom asked.

"A sweathear neckline. The color has to be a aqua, there has to be jewls, and it has to be long. I know I'm asking for a lot for one dress but it's what I'm looking for."

"Ok. Lets see here." My mom said after visting 4 more stores that have dresses.

"Mom. Can we please take a break? My legs are starting to really hurt and I'm hungry."

My mom says "Sure hunny. I don't think you are having such good luck here at the mall. Do you want to go shopping tomorrow and call it a day for today?"

"I guess. I just really want to find my dress today but we can go out tomorrow again."

"Sounds good. Do you want to go back home and you can invite some friends over?"

"Sure."

"Lets go home then."

We get home and i go right upstairs to text Squad my group chat.

Me: Hey. Any of u want to come over to hang out?!?
Hannah responds 3 minutes later with "Sure. Be there in 15.

Hannah was the only one that answered me. Cameron didn't even answer me, that's strange because he always answers me back right away. He's probably just busy with his friends.

!!!Cameron's POV!!!
I did something really bad, and I mean really bad last night with a girl. I'm going to loose Katie for sure after this one. I messed up my whole relationship again with her. She will never forgive me. I'm so stupid.

I get a text from the group chat which katie is in. She asked if anyone wanted to hang out but I didn't answer because I think she is going to get mad at me if she finds out and dumps me. I'll just text her what i did last night with that girl.

Me: Hey.
Katie: Hey. R u coming to hang out at my place?
Me: I can't. I have a bunch of things to get done. But i need to tell u something.
Katie: Oh ok. and wht do u need to tell me thts important?
Me: I did something with a girl last night and i regret it soo much.
Katie: Wht did u do?
Me: She gave me a bj and then i sort of made out with her afterwards.
Katie: Why would you do tht to me... AGAIN?
Me: Idk. I got drunk and wasn't thinking right.
Katie: ya ok sure.
Me: u know wht. Im done with all ur bullshit and attitude.. Im breaking up with u katie and im never coming back.
Katie: Good. You have caused me so much pain in my whole life. goodbye
Me: Goodbye

After that I blocked her, ya I'm still mad that I told her but it was the right thing to do. I feel so bad honestly.

!!!Katie's POV!!!
Why did Cameron have to do this again? I'm so mad.

"Hey. You look sad. What happened?" Hannah asked.

"Cameron just broke up with me."

"Omg. What did he do that made him break up with you?"

"He let a girl give him a bj and then he made out with her."

"He's a manhore. Don't let it bother you."

"I won't. I think I'm going to text Dustin."

"Ok. Do you still want to hang out?"

"Oh god yes. Why don't we go rent a movie or something?"

"A movie sounds good to me."

"Great. Let's go find a movie."

We chose Nerve. While we were watching the movie I texted Dustin hoping that he's still not mad at me.

Me: Hi
Dustin: Wht do u want?
Me: Cameron broke up with me...
Dustin: I'm sorry.. Do u want me to come over?
Me: Sure. If u want
Dustin: I'll be there in 20 minutes
Me: ok see u then.

Dustin came exactly 20 minutes later. He saw my eyes that were all red and blotchy. He pulled me into a really tight hug and whispered in my ear "I'm sorry." and I just hugged him even harder letting all of my feeling out.

Hannah was still in the living room when me and Dustin entered. I sat down on the couch and Dustin followed me sitting down right next to me and putting his arm around me. I put in head on his chest and we culled for the rest of the movie.

Hannah went home after the movie was over and Dustin said that he was going to stay the night bc my parents weren't home and neither was my brother.

We went up to my bedroom, I changed in to my pajamas and Dustin got into my bed and i climbed in right after him. He pulled me close and said "I love Katie, I always have and always will."

Without thinking I said "I love you too." and for once in my life I actually meant it.

Hey! Long time no chat!! I'm so sorry about not updating in a while but I've been going through some things and I took a break. But now I'm back!!!!! I will be updating hopefully 2 times a week depending on my school schedule but I promise that I will start updating this story again.
