!!Katie's POV!!

It's 10 in the morning and forgetting that Cameron was coming home today from New York visiting family. It has been almost 1 month since I've seen my best friend even though every night we FaceTime and text every day. I've missed him so much I just want to kiss him when I see him. WAIT! Did I just say that? Shake it off Katie, shake it off. Shaking it off I got in the shower and got ready. I got dressed into a cute black skater skirt and a loose, flowy crop top. I then dried my hair and just curled the ends of my hair. I topped off my outfit with my black and white converse shoes.

I text Cameron asking if he is home yet. He texts back not even a minute later and says that he is on his way over. It takes about 20 minutes to get from my house to his house. I text him back saying I will see him then and send it with a winky face. I went to go eat breakfast when my older brother, Sam walked in and started to make fun of me. Sam is my twin brother and isn't home a lot but when he is, he annoyings me any way possible even when I not home. Anyways.

"Hey little sis. So I hear your lover is coming over today." Sam said grabbing a banana off the counter.

"Hi and what do you mean my lover?" I ask him confused pouring some pebbles into my bowl. And all Sam did was laugh and wink at me and took off to his room. After eating my cereal Cameron rang the doorbell. I looked in the mirror to make sure my makeup was on point and my clothes looking good on me. I went to open the door and before I could say hi I was pulled into a big warm hug. It was like we haven't hugged at all even though we have a couple of times.

"Hi" I say after the hug "It has been forever. I missed you so much." I say too.

"Hey. It has only been 1 month since I've seen you last not a whole year. And I missed you too. So what have you been doing while I was gone?" Cameron said to me bringing me into another hug.

"Nothin really. Sitting watching TV all day for a month because my BESTFRIEND was all the way across the country to visit family!" I said in a stun voice.

"Well sorry I was planning on getting you something you know. But I guess you don't get it now because you yelled at for going to New York." Cameron said.

"NO I want the gift. I wasn't yelling I was just mad that you left me behind but I want that gift. Please?????" I said with my lips quivering.

"Fine, but first give me a kiss on the cheek." Cameron said with a little smile starting. I have never kissed him before and now that he wants me to kiss him on the cheek I'm nervous. Why am I nervous we are just best friends pulse I have a crush on this other guy that I know I have no chance with.

"Ugggg. Do I have to?" I ask as I shrink.

"Yes. Or else I will make it change to the lips!" Cameron said all excited. I have never kissed a guy before.

"Fine I will do it on one condition." I say a little annoyed with myself.

"What is that condition?" Cameron asked his smile still there.

"You have to take me to any place I want to go to for a whole week." I say a little bit happier.

"Fine but first kiss then the deal and present." He said seeming a little bit more awkward than before. So without hesitation I kissed Cameron's cheek. And then backed away. He smiled and gave me my present. It was a necklace that looks really expensive and it had a heart on it. WAIT! IT HAD A HEART ON IT? Please tell me this doesn't mean he likes me.

"OMG it looks amazing Cameron where did you get it? And how much was it?" I said in shock as Cameron put it around my neck.

"That's for me to worry about. So is that deal off the table now?" Cameron asked seeming a little bit of a tense building up.

"A deal is a deal." I said with a straight face. After a while he said ok.
