Chapter 8: Change in feelings

So for the last time they spin the bottle n it stops on nandini. Mukti n Alya were passing devilish smiles to each other as if they were waiting for this.

"Ok nandini by now we all have realized that u r a very gutsy girl n never give up on ur dares so I wud like to dare u to kiss bhai...I mean Harshad" alia said n nandini n soha's face dried up. Manik, aryaman n all the boys got very angry while mukti was continuously smiling coz she was waiting for such an opportunity

"Come on nandini I thght u r too bold so go for it n make it fast" mukti said suppressing her laugh n nandini very well understood their intentions.

She went close to harshad. Their lips were just few centimeters away wen soha stormed out angrily. Tears kept flowing from nandini's eyes which melted manik's heart badly n he was not at all ok in seeing his nandini kissing someone

"Guys!"manik blurted loudly which took everyone's attention

"Umm I got a message frm Nyonika. She wants to see me rt now its something important so lets end this here n leave" Manik said n except mukti n alya everyone nodded n left while the two girls looked at each other n stamping their foot left too

Nandini was searching for manik but he disappeared in all the cars parked.

On the other side Manik went to his car.

Manik's pov: why does she matter to me sooo much! Y couldn't I see her with harshad even though I know there's nothing between the two but still Ohh freak these thghts tgey r driving me crazy. Manik u shud hate her she repeatedly made fun of u today n be4 also...she hurt ur fu***ng EGO!!!!!! But amidst all this I only remember the way she came to me, those 3 beautiful wrds, her smile, her laughter ohh no Manik STOP! Enough of all this I shud keep myself distracted before I turn crazy

Thinking all this he drove back home.

Nandini too went back home n crashed in her room. While lying down she slipped into her thghts

Nandini's pov: Maybe he's not that bad as I thinked him to be. Despite of pulling so many pranks on him starting from the chemistry lab, then basketball match, on fb n now today but he never was mad on me in fact he kept up his CUTE smile. Wait did I just say 'cute' ! No nandini murthy this is not the time to bring all these thghts! But we can become friends at least rather than picking on him all the time! But I kind of like this thing, fighting, challenges. Nandini wat r u thinking u r letting him rule over ur mind thrgh these stupid challenges! No lets focus on my studies! U hav very less time unlike others so strt frm now itself.

(Manik is studying n he imagines dat nandini brings coffee fr him n den his head bangs on d deskn he realized it was a dream n he strts studying again)

(Aryaman brings a pile consisting of only physics book n not able to see d floor tumbles on a couch n grins)

(Manik got frustrated n pushing his books to a side strt playing his guitar n sings "gatak ke peeja...ratta maar" )

(Teachers give AIPMT mock test paper to the bio students n IIT-MAINS to the pcm students. Nandini n Navya were fully engrossed in their papers while cabir was totally zapped n almost crying n was saying akad bakad bambe bo n darkening a circle.)
