Chapter 3: Manik's Challenge

Nandini was walking across the corridor wiping tears and meantime alya and mukti were waiting for her at the end of d corridor. By their faces it looked like they had planned something evil. When she was almost at the end of the corridor she turned arnd n saw manik behind her.

"Aiappa y is he following me"saying this she starts walking quickly n manik too increases his pace. Now nandini was at the end of corridor so mukti and alya pulled a rope. Fortunately nandini crossed it but unfortunately icey cold water which was filled in the bucket fell on the Manik Malhotra. Nandini heard d sound so she turned back but seeing this epic scene she started laughing.

"Aww finally u got a veryyyy sweet fruit for following me all this while"nandini chuckled. "Listen I wasn't following u my hanky was with u"nandini looks at the hanky in her hand "oh I forgot waise bhi I'm least interested in taking ur eww dirty hanky take it u need it more to clean urself" she leaves n manik was fuming in anger "enough newbie now lets take it my style" saying this he smirked.

Manik was going to the washroom wen cabir n dhruv saw him all drenched. "Tip tip barsa pani pani me kachu kachu hota hai"cabir said. Manik angrily replied "yeh ghatiya si lines apne pas rakh thik hai na tip tip barsa pani". Cabir chuckled "are tu bhadak kyu raha hai I saw u all drenched islie". Manik's anger rose "don't act innocent ok I know very well wat u r talking about". "U know very well accha to bata hum waha baith ke us ghatiye se lecture ko attend kar rahe the aur aapko romance soojh raha tha aur tu nandini ko itne gusse me washroom kaise le gaya" cabir's statement flustered Manik "enough cabir pata nahi who but someone poured ice cold water on me so mai dry karke aata hoon". Cabir again replied "ye bhagwan ki den hai"but be4 manik could say anything dey ran away

At skl playground all the students assembled for lunch break. Nandini went to aryaman, soha n harshad

"Wat happened nans u seem infuriated"soha remarked. "Yes actually I am today I got scolding frm my physics teacher jst bcoz of dat stupid reckless immature n crazy manik"she said angrily. "Nans wat is wrong with u manik is a very nyc guy n secondly every girl in MVN goes gaga over him"after a thght nandini replied "but I'm different. I'm not like other dumbs who jst worship him like god!"

Manik n fab 5 were sitting behind then.
Manik pov:true said nandini u r different, unique, special pata nahi kyu tumse zyada der gussa bhi nahi reh pata but thoda irritate to karna padega.

Nandini was busy in criticizing abt manik when he interrupted her "guys some people are soo obsessed with me ki free tym me bhi they are talking only about Manik Malhotra". Nandini angrily replied "how dare u follow me again haan yaha bhi piche aake baith gaye". "Oh hello agar hum tumhare piche baith te na den u cud hav seen us coming but u didn't dat means u r following me"manik said with his cute drama king wale expressions. "In ur dreams"nandini replied snobbishly while manik calmly counter replied "I challenge u ki aaj agar ek bhi baar tumne mere bare me socha ya discuss kiya to u will have to accept dat u r obsessed with me". Nandini thinks for a while "challenge accepted". Saying this she leaves n manik smiles rather blushes
