Dear diary.

What would you do if two guys came into your house and told you what to do? Well I know what I would do. 1. I would kick there butt. 2. Punch that stupid smirk off their faces. (Mostly Jayce) 3. probably listen to them because there twice my size and FAST.

"What are you doing?" I looked up from my diary to find Jayce’s golden blue eyes staring into mine from the review mirror.

"None of your business" I told him and went back to writing.

Even if they’re totally hot, I rather kick there butt. So.... What should I do? There bringing me to a town far away from here, (home.) without even telling us why. I know Jayce said he would tell me but when? (He could have been lying) If he was I will so kick his ass.

I did what he told me to do, even in my dreams I listened to him, even if I got injured. Ohhh... Probably should tell you, during my dreams I woke up with a symbols intertwined into my palm. The symbol has a star in the middle with swirls and curves around it. When I ran into Jayce he looked at the bandage, I think that he recognized me because of it.

Diary, is something wrong with me?? I was a normal girl who had family problems, who got kicked out, to find my life wasn’t as normal as I thought. I just wish I knew what it was there keeping form me and where there bring us. I hope I find my answers but I got to go.

-Romi-

I shut my diary and put it back into my bag. "So, what cha doing?” Jayce asked again. “I can’t tell you anything." I said coldly. I didn’t like Jayce or Haydn with a passion. I knew I used to date Haydn, but he left me stranded and alone. He betrayed me and Bemo. I really need to stop thinking about that... I told myself, instead of thinking I laid my head on the side of Graces car seat.

No answers came as I drifted off to sleep, thinking only of what might come. I felt everything disappear while my life changed around it.

Everything around me changed, I was standing in the field of flowers again. I called out Jayce’s name, knowing, hoping he could find me. I started walking thru the flowers listening to the breeze as I looked for the circle. I felt no fear in my dream as I found the circle. I could make out the symbols engraved into the stone circle in front of me.

I lifted my foot to step forward when everything started changing. Everything went in slow motion and then I was in a black hole of nothing again. Before I heard his voice, I felt the burning sensation in my arm. I screamed out in pain, knowing I was screaming Jayce’s name, not knowing why his name was on my lips.

“Romi, I am right here. God, stop screaming my name.” Jayce yelled over my wails. I opened my eyes and bit my lip, holding it in. I found his golden blue eyes staring into mine. “If you keep screaming my name like that, people will think I’m raping you or something” He Said sarcastically, his face blank. I felt my cheeks burn as I looked away.

I noticed the car was empty, “Where is everyone?” I asked coldly, holding in the pain. I didn’t have respect for him, even if I screamed his name

“Well, were at the gas station, Grace needed a diaper change. So Bemo went inside to do that, and Haydn went to pay for the gas.” He paused. “Why were you screaming my name?” He asked softly. His tone was as soft as feathers, if a voice could be like that. It made me look up at him. His eyes were worried; it was strange to see him worried. I’ve always thought of him as a person who never cared for anyone and used his sarcasm as a weapon.

“Look at my arm, please...” I asked him, I didn’t want to look at it. I knew it was different, it felt like a thousand needles sizzling against my skin. I closed my eyes as Jayce lifted my arm carefully unwrapped the bandage. I bit my lip as he touched the symbol etched into my arm. “Sorry...” He murmured realizing it hurt.

“It’s strange... These symbols etched into your skin seem to be leading up your arm. This all started after the dream you had?” Jayce asked me, I nodded as I opened my eyes. He looked amazed, and curious as he looked at my arm.

"Hey, you’re awake. I got us some mountain dew to share!" I pulled my arm away from Jayce and found Bemo putting Grace back in the car seat. Grace was trying to squirm out of the car seat, When Bemo got her in, she looked over at me then she noticed Jayce between the front seats. Her eyes flicked towards me noticing my face, she looked over at my arm.

“Shit…” She muttered, shutting the door and running in the gas station. She grabbed Haydn on his way out and brought him back inside.

“That went great” I muttered threw my teeth. The pain was quickening to a dull ache, the burning was slightly letting off but not enough. I closed my eyes imagining anything that would get my mind off the ache. I never thought burns would hurt this much... I muttered in my head. Its etched into your skin Romi... A voice whispered threw my head.

I opened my eyes and looked straight at Jayce, He was looking at me still. His Stare was tense, his eyes the color of dark sky with golden clouds.

"I don’t understand, I think I know what the symbols mean... But why are they burning randomly into your skin. It’s just strange." He muttered. He didn’t seem to be talking to me, rather himself.

I flinched as the door opened to my left while Bemo hopped in with some generic medicine and bandages. Her face expression was heartbreaking; she looked like she might cry.

"Give me your hand" I lifted it and she gently took it. This time I shifted my right hand, the burning ache increased. I bit my lip, and closed my eyes. I wanted to scream, cry out but I knew I shouldn’t. Bemo would freak and break down crying. She seemed to worry too much for me, which I didn’t need.

"It’s getting longer... it went from your palm, now your wrist." Bemo murmured while Haydn started the car and drove us towards the unknown place.

Bemo wrapped up my hand, and made me take a pain reliever. The pain reliever worked after a while. The burning ache seemed to fade, but I was also fading into sleep. I tried to keep myself awake but it wasn’t working. I was fading away, away from the car, away from everyone.
