Chapter 1: Meeting the Pack part 1

Third person POV

After Eren passed out of exhaustion, the wolf stoped running and made its way in a small gallop. They passed many trees and hills far away from Titan Mountain. Soon, they came apon a clear and blue pool in the middle of the ground. No, not the kind in a backyard of a family, the kind that lies in mostly forests, jungles, or rainforest. The wolf sat down and carefully put the sleeping boy on the ground in front of it. It then stood on its hind legs as light mist started forming around it. Slowly the hind legs of the wolf became human feet, then legs and things. The body of the wolf became a small human torso, and arms. The mist made its way to the top of the wolf's head, changing into a normal human head. By now, let's add the fact that with long black hair, grey eyes, and heavier chest fitted in an off white drees top, and curved lower half in light blue dress skirt, this human was a woman. Possibly the woman Eren's mom was talking about when she said "She will take care of you now, if you let her."

The woman bent down and picked up Eren, carrying him in her arms around the small pool and to a suburban house. It didn't seem recently built. This house must have been here for some time to earn the small wear and tear. Red brick decorated the outside, while a forest green covered the roof. It also had a porch that expanded on both sides with a few tables and chairs. Using her hip, the woman maneged to open the front door and close it once inside. Passing by the deluxe living room, dining room, and kitchen, she walked up a spiral staircase to the next floor. Little did she know, she was being followed.

The upstairs of the house, mostly consisted of bathrooms, bedrooms, and a few closets. Walking into one that door was already opened, she gently put Eren down on the queen sized bed and neatly put the covers over him. Turning around to leave, she spotted the culprit or culprits that followed her. Sighing and shaking her head, she hushed and told them not to disturb their new guest.

Two days later, Eren finally woke up. His emerald eyes slowly opened as he sat up and stretched, his stuffed plushie, Rouge, still in his arms with a death grip. He let out a big yawn, using his small hands to rub the sleep out of his eyes. Completely awake, Eren noticed he was sitting in a sea of purple. Purple spreadsheet that is. He examined his surroundings with a mixture of confusion and scared on his face. He sat alone in bed in a small room with white walls and brown hardwood floors. There was a black dresser and nightstand on either side of the bed. On the nightstand, there was a small cup of water, a loaf of baked bread, a pair of clothes and shoes that looked like it actually could be Eren's size, and a piece of paper with a short note on it. Why were these things placed here? Who placed them here? Eren wondered these things but something inside him already knew the ansers. He knew he couldn't just sit in bed all day, but was nervous for what could be awaiting him.

Taking a deep breath, Eren maneuvered his way out of the bed and onto the cold floor due to him just realizing he didn't have on shoes or socks. He looked at the items on the night questionably. Then his stomach started to rumble. As stubborn as Eren could be, he ignored his pride, grabbing the loaf of bread and nearly stuffed it his mouth, using the back of his hands as a napkin and swallowed it down with the cup of water. Eren put Rouge carefully on the ground before stripping out his old clothes and changed into the clothes on the table. A black and red plaid shirt, blue jean shorts,and black shoes. Eren put his old clotes on the floor because he knew it would have been quite an effort to put them back on the tall bed again. Picking up Rouge, the boy slowly picked up the note on the nightstand. Eren could read but he had a small lisp problem that made it hard to pronounce some words. However, Eren was determined and made out the words the best way he could.

Dear Eren,

You're probably very confused and scared, but I can assure you that you are safe here. I gatered some clothes and food for you, knowing you would be hungry and needed a change of outfit. I also made sure to have Rouge right by your side when you wake up. When you are you ready, come downstairs and to the back yard. There, I will be waiting to tell you some more information and answer any question that you might have.

Eren was indeed afraid and puzzled but he was also had a lot of questions that needed to be answered. He held Rouge closely to his chest as he made his way to the door. Eren hesitantly turned the knob and opened the door. He thought the hallways were going to be dark, but thanks to the windows, natural light shined through, leaving the whole house rather bright. Eren crept down the hallway until he met the spiral staircase. He held Rouge close as he walked around the house searching for a door, one that would lead him to the backyard to meet this Kutchel person. Eren passed by the living room and saw a screen door. 'This must be it.' He thought. Eren walked up the door and looked outside. He expected to see a regular fenced in background with a patio amd furniture. What he didn't expect to see was patio with furniture, a pool, and a tall mountain with jagged steps leading up to a cave in its center.

Eren reached up and opened the slide screen door and went outside on the patio with black and dark fadded pink tiles. It was quiet. The only thing that could be heard was the soft sound of leaves moving against the trees and birds singing their song to one another. Eren had to admit, as scared as he was, his environment was rather calm and peaceful. He'll never say it aloud, but the forest was probably his new favorite place.

Eren sat down on one of the steps leading down off the patio to the yard. ' Ms.Kutchep said she would meet me here. I'll just wait I guess.' Eren thought. He and Rouge sat in silence until a sudden splash got their attention.

"CANNON BALL!!!!" Yelled an errie voice.

Looking up, Eren saw on the roof what seemed to be at least 11 smaller wolves sitting close to the edge. Then, all at once, the rest of the wolves leaped off the roof and landed in the water below them. Eren got up and wobbled over to pool to meet these daredevil pups, but he stoped when he saw a pair of silver piercing eyes sticking out the water. The eyes came closer, soon merging out of the water. Eren huged Road tightly as he walked back, scared yet fascinated by the eyes that followed him. The owner of the eyes was a black wolf pup with grey and white markings on it. The other wolves swam in the pool for a little longer until they saw one of their own and got out and shook the water off their coats. Still dripping wet, the wolf glared at Eren as he came closer. He looked a lot smaller than the other pups but he still stood face level with Eren. He soon found himself with his back against a small brick wall at the bottom of the steps. Eren closed his eyes when he felt the wolf pup's breath next to his next. The pup snarled and and started to let his teeth show. Eren knew it was wrong to leave the room. He should've just stayed there until Kutchel came back.

"Levi, stop it. You're scaring our guest." Kutchel, in human form, grabed the pup by its scruff or the back of its neck, and pulled him away from the shivering boy.

"Sorry, Eren. Levi here likes to bully everyone. He won't do it again though. Right, Levi?" Kutchel looked at the dangling pup in her grasp. 'He.' Eren thought. 'He looks really pretty for a boy.'

"Sure, whatever. Sorry brat. Why are you here anyway?" Levi said as he wiggled his way out of Kutchel's tight hold.

"Guys, I like you meet Eren. Eren, these are my liite pups. Some of may not look like me, but we are all family." Kutchel put Levi down and as soon as she did he immediately shook his fur to get water off.

Behind Kutchel were 11 wolves sitting close to her.

'This has been a long day, and it just keeps getting longer.' Eren told himself.
