Holiday Cabin

Chapter 2

Cara'S POV

I stretched before I opened my eyes. Shivers sent down through my arms and then all over my body. I yawned and squinted my eyes.

"Jaysus Peyton that was a lovely snooze now", I mumbled to Peyton with a sleepy smile waiting for a reply. "Peyton?", I opened my eyes to see an empty seat next to me.
"Whaa", I mumbled again with my sleepy voice.
I sat up and looked around the bus to see absolutely no body sitting in a seat.
"Guys?". I sat up and my head spun around for a second. "Woah", I whispered to myself holding onto a seat for support.

I stood up straight and looked around the bus again. I walked up to the front of the bus and pressed the button to open the door. I turned around and walked into a small glass window on the door. "Fuck my nose!". I held onto my nose with both hands.
I walked back over and looked at the door as I kept pressing the button. Nothing was happening, it wasn't opening. Then I realised there was a handle on the door. "Well no wonder the button wouldn't work you dumb ass", I told myself as I attempted to open the door. It was locked. I started pulling and shoving at the door to get it open.

I went down the back and got one of those mini hammers to break a window in the bus. The glass shattered after one wallop of the hammer against the glass. That really does the job.

I hoped out the window trying to avoid glass on and outside the window.
I hoped out and slipped on ice. I fell back and hit the back of my head off the bus. "Shiiiit". My head was pumping blood but luckily I didn't badly hurt myself. It was snowing which confused me because it never snows here.

I saw some movement in this cabin ahead of me. It looked like the picture of the one my parents bought. I headed towards the cabin looking around in confusion and thought. Is this some kind of prank? Why did they lock me in the bus? I'm going to kill them.

I started getting closer to the cabin surrounded by the woods I was walking through trying to dodge some thorns and nettles. I was almost there when I got pulled back and dragged behind a tree.

"Sssshhhhhh", Ali put her finger up to her mouth and covered mine with her other hand. My heart was still racing at the fright.
She slowly removed her hand from my mouth. I sat up straight very quickly and she grabbed onto my arms to stop me from leaving. "Ali ! What the fuck are you doing what is going on why are you hiding behind a fucking tree?", I whisper shouted knowing I wasn't allowed to speak loudly.

"We are playing hide and seek dumb ass, you were hiding in the buss what were you doung casually walking to the cabin?", she whisper shouted back.
"What? No I just woke up. You guys locked me in there and I had to smash a frickin window to get out of that tight spaced box. When did we decide to play hide and seek?", I whisper shouted in complete confusion.

"You? You and a few others came up with this idea, you were like basically captain of hiding spots even tho it's hide and seek".

"What!?", I paused. "Jesus this is more confusing than a boy", I said aloud to myself.
"You were gave too many beers", she answered with her solution to her own confusion as to why I was confused.
Confusing.

"Eeehhhmmm yeah whatever who's on?", I asked her going along with her solution.
"Lauren", she replied.
"Well where is she - HUUUHH", I gasped at the unexpecting hand landing on my shoulder.
"Found ye", Lauren said in victory.
"If it weren't for you", Ali whispered to herself referring to me.

I moved my shoulder around in circles. "That hurt, you whacked my shoulder", I said now rubbing it. "Trying to scare ya", she said with another victorious smile.

"So, did you catch the others?", Ali stood up. "I found everyone but I'm still looking for Emily", Lauren replied sounding a bit annoyed. Probably at the fact that she wasn't with us.

"Ugh I guess I'll keep looking, you guys head back to the cabin. Tell the others I'm just looking for Emily".
"Kk,  come on", Ali replied and asked me to follow her.

We were walking in silence when next thing we heard a bang.

"Omg Cara! Cara come on wake up wake up Cara come on, come oooooon.....

Cara, Cara? Come on wake up we are here", Peyton shook me wake up.
"What?".
"We are here, we are at the cabin come on lets go".
"Wait was that all a..", I mumbled in my sleepy voice.
"Aaaaaaa ... what?", Peyton asked me raising an eyebrow looking at me stupid.
"That was a dream? Wait were we just playing hide and seek and then me and Ali, we were walking back to the cabin and -".
"Yeah no that was a dream hun come on", Talia interrupted me walking down the aisle between the seats.

I rubbed my eyes and looked at the window. Perfect. Not a piece of glass out of place. The mini hammer still in its little case.
"But that felt so real", I whispered to myself.

"You know what they say. Sometimes dreams are just a flash into the future", Courtney looked at me with a fake shocked face and smiled.

That made me think. "Come on so girl who ya waiting for?", she asked. I looked at her with my tired eyes and laughed. "Okay I'm up". Courtney laughed. "We don't want to lock you in the bus", she joked and walked towards the door of the bus.
"Hah..heh", I grabbed my bag and followed her out.

"HAHAH DIBZ FIRST ROOM", Jason dibzed thinking he got to choose his room first.
"Soz, I already chose the best one for my little room group, I saw the pics and dibzed the big room. Unlucky maybe next time though", I teased smirking and laughing.
"Hahahaaa..ha", he sarcastically laughed defeated. I shrugged my shoulder and smiled victoriously. "You will have to share anyway there's three bedrooms, you can dibz the bed for your room though, the others have sleeping bags", I slightly hinted.

"DIBZ", James won. I smiled at him and he smiled back squinting our eyes at each other. I don't know, flirt face.
"Hahahhh looks like you'll be in the bag tonight boy", James teased Jason.
Jason went in for a punch and they started a bit of scrap. Only messing scrap though, they only having a bit of craic.

"OKAY GUYS! LISTEN UP! Everyone unpack and get your stuff sorted then come to the living room when you are finished and we will decide what bar we should go to tonight. Okay?", Emily ordered all of us.

"Yeeaahh..", everyone agreed a bit annoyed at her thinking she has control over this.

We all unpacked and decided to go to a bad about 3 miles away. "We can walk right?", Daniel tried suggesting.
"In this weather? Nah you're crazy. It's absolutely freezing, can you not see the snow!", Kayla made a good point trying to make no one else agree with him.

Snow..It's snowing? I thought. Damn that dream was crazy. I giggled in my head.

"A bus to a bar down the road seriously?", Luke said siding with Daniel.
"Did anyone here pack warm clothes?", Kayla asked us all. No one answered her. "Exactly see we will die of hypothermia out there", she finished.

"Okay okay we will drive..", Luke giggled shaking his head.
"Righteo lets head", Emily said grabbing the keys to the bus and pushing them into Jeremy's chest. Jeremy looked like he was going to kill the child.

Jason whistled as if to say 'woah ho ho ho burhurhurhurn' and Jeremy elbowed him in the stomach.

"Right lads lets get stoned!", Ella shouted with her hands in the hair and high fiving Kayla.
"Hey there will no drugs", Lauren snapped.
"No promises..", Kayla gave her that evil look.

"Right lets go so", I laughed.
