Chapter 11

Tina P.O.V

It was my baby 3rd birthday and she is so precious to me. Today was all about her and even though she was three she was pretty smart and I knew she was trying to get me and her daddy back together. Everything she wanted to do had to include him.

So far we was going to go to August moms house. I never met her and neither did Treazure. I guess August knew I was nervous because I couldn't stop shaking, so he held my hand. Something made me wonder why August would want me to meet his mother and we weren't together. I guess for the sake of our daughter.

"Hey y'all come in." Moma sheila said.

"Hey moma this is my daughter Treazure and this is Tina." August said introducing us.

"Nice to meet you." I said to her not knowing if I should give her a hug or a handshake.

"Nice to meet you I heard so much things about you. And I'm so glad he decided not to marry that-"

"Momma!" August said giving her the death stare.

"Fine, but look here I'm glad to see my little grandbaby and I got someone for you to meet." She said as she walked us into the living room. And there were August three nieces.

"Y'all this is y'all cousin. Now y'all go play for a few minutes." Mama Sheila said as the girls ran somewhere in the house.

"August can you get me some cigarettes from the store?" Moma sheila said.

"But Momma you don't even-" August said, I guess suggesting that she just wanted to tlk to me alone.

When August left it was a long silence.

"Well sit down baby girl I'm not gonna bite."

I took a seat and we just conversated about what I was doing. And of course August

"So you and my baby, whats going on with y'all?" She said putting her hand under her chin preparing to listen.

"Well me and August fell in love well that's what I thought, but Raven came around and he chose her and then I was pregnant the whole time not knowing and ended up giving birth to her. And I don't really know what's going on with us now." I said fast ass hell.

"Well I see that my son had made lots of mistakes but how he talks about you I can tell that he loves you." She said as she got up from her seat.

"Girls!" She yelled.

"Yes granny!" They all said running to where we were.

"Its time for y'all cousin to go, I heard she had special plans." Mama sheila said bending down on there level.

Just then August came through the door with some party stuff from the dollar store.

"Where my cigarettes boy?" Mama sheila asked sarcastic.

"Whatever moma." August said.

"Momma can my cousins come to my party?" Treazure asked tugging my hand.

"Well its up to-"

"Yeah you can take them." She said smiling.

Since we added August nieces to the trip. We decided to cancel the other events and have the party and I tell you it was so many kids running around. Thank goodness some of August and my friends were there to help.

August P.O.V

I sat back with the boys and enjoyed how well Tina worked with the kids. Damn I said to myself what did I fuck up. I was still confused on what we were,but I did have a house and I had to get back in it. No point of paying the bills when I'm not living there.

****After The Party*****

Tina P.O.V

I just got out the shower and I was sore ass fuck watching all them kids. August just got out the room making sure the girls were all sleep.

"Tina I'm bout to head home." August said with some of his clothes.

"Umm you sure you know I gotta guest bed." I said to be honest I didn't want him to leave.

"Nah it's ok." He replied.

"Well let me walk you out." I said as I got out the bed.

When we got to the door I stood there and he stood outside the door.

"Well I guess I'll see you early tomorrow." He said.

"Yeah I guess so, can I get a hug tho." I said more as a statement.

When we hugged it was long ass hell and he smelled so good.

"I see you ain't talking all that shit that you was talking this morning." I said while I was hugging him.

"Shid you wouldn't be able to handle it." He said grabbing a hand full of my ass.

When we unhooked the hug we couldn't do nothing but look at eachother.

"I'm miss you." August said.

"I miss you too." I replied.
