Chapter 17

2 weeks later***

Everything was going great and I was so ready for the big move. I was on my way down there so that I could get everything ready.

*Ring Ring*

"Hello." I said into the phone.

"Umm.....Tina can you come down to the new location." Somebody said into the phone that sounded familiar.

"Who is this?" I asked scrunching up my face.

"Just come." She said nicely.

"Jade what the fuck you doing calling on my phone?" I yelled recognizing who it was.

-Beep!

I threw my phone down and sped off to my new location of the shop. If she thought she was going to ruin my new shop she had another thing coming.

When I got there everybody was there, all my family, friends, and August friends and family. They was all in the salon's driveway with drinks a big ass radio, and a big ribbon rapped around the shop. My mother was holding them big sisters awaiting me to cut it.

Thank goodness I had the appropriate clothes. When I got out my car I was so happy. I was even more happy when I seen my baby Treazure and August come out of nowhere with some flowers.

"Baby gurrl wanted to give you something." August said as she stepped up.

"Here you go mommy I'm so proud of you." She said as she gave me some flowers.

I didn't notice that August was getting on one knee, but I turned around to notice when I heard everybody in aww.

"August what are you doing?" I asked putting my hands over my mouth.

August grabbed my hand and began to speak.

"Tina god knows we been through a lot of shit, but you is my baby you had me when nobody did. You kept me happy nobody had you warm my heart up, and so much more I gotta say that can't contain words, but I love you baby and I promise you if you marry me I'm going to be the best husband and father. So Tina-?"

"Yes! Yes! I will marry you." I said as August got up and put the ring on my finger as we hugged and kissed repeatedly.

"Mommy!" Treazure said chuckling.

"Girl go in there with them other kids, this is grown folks business." My mother said laughing grabbing Treazures hand taking her with the other kids.

"Okay y'all while y'all over there kissing and dry humping, its time for you to open the shop." Kayla said laughing with her hand over her hip.

"Okay I'm coming.". I said waving her off.

"Move baby we can finish this later tonight." I whispered in his ear, as I walked off and he smacked me on the ass.

When I finally cut the ribbon we were ready to celebrate. I then remembered that Jade was here. I looked around and noticed her as the crowd was still clapping in excitement.

Before I could walk to her about two or three police cars pulled up.

"Jade?" One of the police officers asked her.

"Yeah." She said dryly.

"You are under arrest for the murder of Raven." The police officer said putting the handcuffs on her.

Everyone around me was in shock that they seen her get in the police car. But I just told everyone to brush it off. We turned up for the rest of the night.
