prologue

THE START

(A/N: explanation of lily's life before everything)

My life was simple like any other girl at the age of 11, a daddy and a mommy, But it couldn't be perfect for to long. See my dad was in the air force as in he worked over seas with Britain most of the time (thats where i was born before i moved here to newland  Oregon (btw its made up)) he died in a plane crash as he fought to stay in the air or to land safe, his plane caught fire as his engine over heated and exploded.  i found out when my mother was told by officers sent to our house and i heard her crying on the floor in front of the door as the officer held her.

She offered him in and we all talked for hours about my father on what was going to happen and how me and my mother where going to live without him. I lived with my grandparents for a month before my mother was stable to take me back and we became closer than ever before.

when i turned 13 my mother met a man named martin, he was a horrible man who treated us like rubbish. it started as verbal abuse to my mother, then violence but as soon as he tried to do anything to me she kicked him out and we never heard from him again. I think he left town and met someone else that let him do what he wanted thats why he never returned.

the only good thing he left was my little sister Amber, she was 1 month pregnant when he left and she never told him as she was scared he would stay to hurt her more and maybe even the baby. She didn't want that for us so i helped her out a lot and so did our family.

we moved to a different house not to far away in the same place with a bigger more beautiful house to rase Amber in but also to leave the bad and old memories behind yet i still kept the memories of my dad and what we shared in that house. 

my sister was born when i was 14 and she became both mine and my mothers whole happiness she changed everything turning are worlds back around to a happier place. Still to this day she makes me laugh, cry and love her even more.
